I absolutely love nature and serene landscapes in Second Life. My friend Sparkle Skye’s region, which neighbors mine, is a popular spot with enchanting flowering fields and a stunning waterfall. It’s the perfect place to lose yourself, explore the beauty of nature, and take amazing photos.
Recently, I tried on the Alida Outfit from Everfaery, and let me tell you, it’s super cute with tons of options! For just L$495, it’s a fantastic deal. However, I didn’t realize it was soooo short—it’s basically the length of a shirt. So, if you’re okay with your butt cheeks hanging out, go for it! Personally, that’s not really my thing, but I’ll still wear it.
Lately, I’ve been filming more short videos in Second Life, just to practice and capture fun moments. Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel (JuicyBomb); I always upload videos there first!
I’ve been thinking about SL22B, Second Life’s big birthday celebration, which is coming up next week. Around this time every year, I also find myself reflecting on whether I would buy SecondLifetime Premium Plus again in 2025.
Back at SL20B, Second Life introduced SecondLifetime Premium and SecondLifetime Premium Plus. It was a limited offer, and I was able to buy just one SecondLifetime Premium for $749 dollars. Then during SL21B, they gave us the option to upgrade from regular lifetime to Plus. I went for it and spent another $1,150 dollars to upgrade my main account. I also bought a brand new SecondLifetime Premium Plus for my alt at the full price of $1,899 dollars. So altogether, I’ve spent $3,789 dollars for two lifetime accounts.
Did I need two lifetime accounts? Last year, I would have said yes without hesitation. I wanted to lock in my Linden Homes permanently. I do not consider myself a creator, so the free uploads were not a huge deal for me. I also do not care about being in a hundred groups. The biggest appeal for me was living rent free in my Linden Homes. That was enough to justify it at the time.
Back then, I had a lot more confidence in Second Life as a company. These days, that confidence has faded. Would I buy another lifetime subscription this year? No, I would not. If they offer it again in very limited numbers, I guess my choice to pass gives someone else a shot at it. If you want one of these, you should pay attention during the Meet the Lindens event at SL22B next week and be ready to submit your ticket fast.
Lately, I keep asking myself how long a Second Lifetime really is. I hope the answer is forever, or at least long enough to break even. We are living in unpredictable times, and Second Life could disappear at any moment. None of us want that, but at the end of the day it is a company, and companies can go under. Everyone who bought Lifetime like I did is hoping Second Life stays around long enough for us to enjoy the full value of our long lifetime subscriptions.

Redgrave – Zuri (Tan)
Emilia Redgrave has just released this gorgeous Zuri skin in Tan and Cacao tone. Each skin tone features 15 makeups and dark hair base. I use to wear Redgrave quite a bit, back when it was one of the few places to get nice “shiny” skin, and the prices are very reasonable.
Here you can see 4 of 15 makeups. I’ve tried a variety of lipsticks so you can get an idea of how it looks on this skin tone.
Even though this is not a tone I normally wear, I think that it’s a really nice shade of Tan and I think a well-done Tan skin is hard to find on the grid.

Oh, is that a sculpted waistband? Yum, I really hope it’s mod and not resizer. But, I know you don’t like resizers either, so I trust you would have said something. I was going to buy leagues sweatpants, but maybe this set instead…. or both! 😀

Gogo- I’ve taken a break from SL and such, but glanced at your blog and thought this entry was one of the best I’ve seen you do. I think it’s mostly because of the images, but the skin, hair, outfit, etc. is absolutely perfect on you (If you ever wanted to be a brunette in SL).
This has got to be one of the best matches of hair and skin I’ve seen in quite a long time. It looks effortless. Great job!

Bah, I went to get the outfit too. I hope they put it up for sale quick, I saw others come there looking for it while I was in LeCirque. Why have it for sale just a weekend, it’s too many sales that’s just the weekend, just the Sunday, just the Thursday, just the Friday… I can’t keep track of them all.
