I like that Truth has been updating his site with every new release and also includes links to purchase on XSTREETSL.

What is UBER? It’s a new monthly event in SL, with a different theme each month. This month’s theme is: Vacation. Most designers in SL interpret that as a beach vacation, and I couldn’t have been happier. I am loyal to the easy, breezy, beachy lifestyle in SL!

Senra is here! When I showed you the NUX Senra Avatars on me two weeks ago, I did not edit the shape or wore anything in my inventory (because I had none on the beta grid).
Second Life announced the Senra Beta Avatars are now available to everyone via the library and a starter avatar web page with options for new users. After playing around with the shape and trying on two old system skins that I didn’t delete from my inventory, I decided to just wear the included Senra Jamie skin. Don’t even try to retrofit old skins or clothing, it’ll leave you feeling deep sadness.

Earlier this year, I blogged about the Animazoo Quadro Dance HUD, and had so much fun playing with all the dance moves! The Quadro Dance HUD has been upgrade with new skins, new features, and minor bug fixes. My friend Melanie did a really great and informative blog post, and an amazing machinima for the HUD. I heart the Home and Garden Expo! I love this expo so much, I always have such a good time exploring everyone’s display, and making a long list of things to get for my home. The best thing about Home and Garden Expo is that it doesn’t feel like an expo of things for sale, but more like a huge set of sims to explore, cos it’s all so uniquely displayed and landscaped.
Most of the H&G sims are autumn themed, until I stumbled upon this lovely display from Studio Skye. It’s WINTER!!! I love the transitioning of the seasons here, and I stood here a lil’ too long admiring the landscaping and watching the leaves swirl around.

Did you know the old Linden Homes are going away?
That’s right. Those first Linden Homes from way back in the day (we’re talking over 15 years ago) are slowly being phased out. If you or someone you know are still living in one, you might not have even noticed the quiet little notices Second Life has posted about their closure. But when the regions eventually disappear, it’s sure to come as a surprise to anyone still hanging on.
To be honest, it’s time. These homes have had a good run, but it’s time to retire them. I fully support this transition because Second Life has given plenty of notice over the years. The first big clue came in 2019 with the launch of Bellisseria, the new generation of Linden Homes. They’ve now been around for six years, offering more prims, better designs, and a livelier community.
While there’s no official shutdown date yet, I personally think closing the old regions within the next 30 days would be fair. Resources are limited, and it doesn’t make sense to keep supporting outdated areas for just a few remaining residents. Thankfully, there are great alternatives such as Bellisseria, mainland parcels, or even choosing to go land-free.
I still remember when the original Linden Homes launched. Honestly, I wasn’t all that impressed even then. They served their purpose, but their time has passed. Their quiet farewell feels right.
