Jewelry in SL gets better and better every year. Some of my favorite “must have” brands are long gone from SL, but there are newer designers to take their place.
If you haven’t heard… Jewelry Fair 2010 opens this Friday! The event runs from October 8th – October 17th!
Kunglers is just one of many amazing jewelers at the fair. I’m wearing the new Camelia jewelry set from Kunglers, and it’s so perfect.
I wanted to show you guys a couple of different angles but my SL crashed and ooops, I didn’t feel like re-creating the windlight setting. So here is a photo of 3 more colors & metals available for this set:
Have you ever wanted to be a little less orange or add a touch of pink to your skin tone? I wanted to color-correct the new Bryn skin in midtone that I got from Lara Hurley Skins. I like the skin, but the face and body is heavily shaded, a little too orange for my taste.
I love hunts just as much as the next free stuff whore, but the Zombie Popcorn hunt was really hard!!! I found a bag at LeeZu, nothing at Surf Co, nothing at KIM, and that’s when I decided that I shouldn’t torture myself at the next 80+ shops, so I bought myself a bikini at KIM and went home happy.
Sorry Zombie Popcorn hunt, I so wanted to do you but my patience ran out.
But I did stumble upon KIM (a new-to-me brand) and that made the whole experience worth it. I love you tiny bikinis!!! <3
Hello from the Coffee Bar! I’m creating a small town to serve as the backdrop for my blog photos, starting with this charming Coffee Bar located inside a Madison Shop building by Sovereign, which you can find at Anthology. These buildings are perfect for a small shop in Second Life or as part of your town building kit. I’ve always dreamed of having my own little town for photo backdrops, so I’m eager to see what else this brand comes up with.
Another cool find from this round at Anthology is the Bias Crossbody Bag by Tomasu. This bag comes with two HUDs – one lets you change the text on the beads, and the other allows you to customize every accessory on the bag, including the bag itself. I’m really impressed with the HUD; it’s clear that the designer is skilled because you can customize this bag in countless ways. This bag also includes a template to make your own photocard!
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on my style in Second Life. What is my style? While I occasionally enjoy dressing up in historical outfits, casual attire is what I gravitate towards. I picked up the Blair Oversized Sweatshirt from Cold Ash at Kustom9, which goes perfectly with the Lia Boyfriend Jeans, also by Cold Ash. Exciting news – they recently updated these jeans to include LaraX! I bought them last year and barely used them, so it was a pleasant surprise to find the update, especially since the brand didn’t announce it. I wish more Second Life brands would let customers know about updates because I had almost forgotten about this brand since it was tucked away in my “old Maitreya body” folder.
“Hi All,” says Elle Couerblanc’s Typist. “This time tomorrow I will be on a grand adventure to the Great State of Florida! But before I go I had to make one post of our girl, Elle Couerblanc, in the latest release from Deetalez called Fanny. “Doesn’t Elle look so cute,” she continues with a heavy sigh, “plus, over the weekend, Elle went a shoppin’ to all the various events on the grid, and boy does she have a lot to say…
Anyone know where I can find those shoes? Not the strappy ones with the blue heel- the other “Alexander Mcqueen Armadillo” shoes.
Shoes from PACADI. Bodysuit from Pig. Hair from BooN.
