It’s official – Second Life has banned gachas! I expected under the new
regimeleadership, this policy and many others will follow to clean up the grid and be in compliance with governmental regulations.While I occasionally played a gacha machine here and there, I’m mostly a beneficiary of the extras from friends. Djinn & Tonic has just released two very interesting designs. These two dresses are different than dresses you would normally see around the grid. I really like the colors on the Death of a Lover dress, but the Mask (traffic light headpiece thing) is kind of too out there for me to wear. However, I think the whole outfit would be really great for fashion photos.

To be considered ugly. (this is the name out the outfit, not my opinion! I think it’s very cute.)
This dress has a great lace pattern on the skirt and pretty roses on the collar piece. I imagine that Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican painter, might wear a dress like this.

Redgrave lashes
Redgrave has a fantastic selection of prim lashes! I have some older ones from last year and they were no copy, mod, transfer. A couple of days ago I visited Redgrave to check out male skins, and I noticed that all the lashes and eyes are now copy, mod, no transfer.
I wear Trin’s Alpha Layer all the time now, to remove system lashes permanently. With system lashes gone, you can adjust lashes to fit almost perfectly.
These are a few of the lashes that I picked out — there’s a huge selection of subtle and more dramatic ones, too. Lashes are amazing… never leave home without it! I know some people prefer tattoo lashes cos it requires no fitting but if you can spend a little time fitting prim lashes, it’s worth the effort.
I’m wearing the Mozz Aegyo Teeth tattoo (included in skin pack) over my skin and it blends beautifully. This tattoo layer has clean alpha around the teeth and will work over any skin in SL without covering up the entire lips. I’m a big fan of these because I can keep the original lips on the skin and also not worry about whether or not the new lips fit over my skin.

Truth has just released four new hairstyles. These hairstyles are beautiful, as always! I wanted to wear Blonde hair for the Farrah style, but the new Atomic Grace skin is more suited for Brunettes, and it goes so well with the Mocha hair texture.

Even though I said the Atomic Grace skins have seams (on the feet & arms), I went ahead and got the Daring Nude makeup. But it still bugs me :X Do you wear skins with defects because you like the face? I guess a lot of people do, since truly perfect skins are a rarity in SL. There will always be *something* that's not right.. even on skins I wear all the time. Some defects are easily overlooked, if it's in places that nobody really sees (like the ears, teeth, or toes). I really hope the creator of Atomic skins fixes these seams issues before releasing the next batch of makeups.
