Today is a fantastic day for going broke (in style), cos so many SL designers have released all at once. I needed a calming outfit, so I chose this Applecake green Multiway Top from Malt and paired it with a pair of White Gatsby Pants from Tableau Vivant (new fav!).
As the name implies, this top can be worn multiple ways. The top and sleeve attachment is sculpted and can be resized to fit, but I chose to wear the “boob” alpha, to remove the front of my chest and didn’t even bother with resizing at all. It’s a perfect fit, yay!

Elikatira’s Blonde (05) hair texture is one of my favorites in SL. It always seems a bit brighter than the rest. I especially love this new Little hairstyle, cos I’m a sucker for messy, casual hair.

This is why I love Katat0nik’s stuff so much, she always has cute new releases and they’re colorful and girlie. I would much rather wear stuff like this than something more formal. Before I discovered Katat0nik, I was a big fan of lolita dresses but there wasn’t much variety. I don’t think lolita fashion is that big in SL anymore but it’s still one of my favorite ways to dress up.

Yuuuum, Doppelganger Inc. has just released these yummy new Madras shorts (with cuffs) and Madras Girl Shorts (shorter version). They're so comfy looking and I love the colors & flannel pattern! The sculpted cuffs looks great on the longer version, and might be unisex? I don't know, but they're totally awesome!

Recently a few of my friends have said they’ve been banned from some sims or events, and yet they continue to want to support the designers in those events by blogging the items. This problem is unique to SL bloggers, cos even though they are banned, they still receive review copies from designers participating in those events. My advice would be to not blog the event at all, cos your presence is clearly not welcomed, why give them any publicity? It also seems fake to promote an event that you personally have not experienced, then how do you know it is worthwhile?
I wish more bloggers would have some self respect, and stop allowing their time and blog to be used by people who do not respect them. You can still support your designer friends, by blogging things that are released at their main store.
What are your thoughts on this? If you’re not a fashion blogger, would you purchase items on the Marketplace from stores that have banned you? Do you care?

I left my platform and went to Alicia’s birthday party. In case you didn’t know, all the OG bloggers know each other. We go way back, decades really. If you cross one of us, you cross all of us… just kidding! It’s not like that, but we do keep in touch.
For a long time, most of my Second Life friends were either bloggers or creators, but I’ve since expanded my circle to include people I’ve met around Bellisseria.
I’m always open to meeting new people and making new friends. I accept random friend requests. If someone’s bold enough to send one, I figure I should say yes. I sometimes send random friend requests too, to people I’ve known forever on social media, though we often never end up talking or seeing each other in Second Life. I’ve always been notoriously bad at showing up in Second Life. Crowds and teleports used to make me anxious, but I’m slowly getting better at it.
Since I’m not shopping this month, I have lots of free time and I’m finally ready to accept teleports.
