Two adorable new hairstyles from Truth — with color-changing hair accessory! I immediately thought of Quinn from Glee (it’s a tv show, you’re missing out if you don’t know) when I saw the Quinn hairstyle. This hairstyle would work so well with a cute lil cheerleader outfit or some 80’s inspired look. 🙂
What would it take to make Sansar thoroughly engaging? Sure, Linden Lab can update the graphics and make it much easier to load and navigate the game, which I imagine they’re doing right now. But what would make it stand out from the previous grid? What would draw in new users, as well as ones from SL?
This is an ongoing list that readers are welcome to add to. If you want to suggest a feature here, please do so in the comment section! Maybe someone from the Lab will see it and think it’s a good idea, too.
Save yourself, don’t go to The Arcade. I normally skip rounds and avoid gacha events, but I saw something I wanted this week. Even though I told my friend I’d play maybe two or three times for these Rift Eyes from Avi Glam, I ended up playing 69 times at L$75 per pull. It’s five times more than I’d normally pay for an Avi Glam eyes fatpack, and honestly, I don’t even think I would’ve paid for a fatpack if it had been sold normally.
The thing with gacha is that it can be very addictive, especially if you want to win a rare and you don’t have a set budget, so you don’t have to stop. You can just keep playing until you win. I gave up on winning the Rare 2 pack on the first day after about forty or fifty pulls and decided to buy it second hand on Marketplace. Then the next day, when I didn’t see anything listed, I played some more. I haven’t played a machine with this much intensity in a long time, so it even surprised me how quickly I lost track of my spending or how fast I was hitting the buy button.
In hindsight, I should’ve stuck to my rule of playing only two or three times per machine, but I ended up going all in on two machines and playing way too many times to collect all the pieces.
Even though I find gacha frustrating, I get the dopamine rush it gives. If you win something you really want right away, it feels amazing. If you find yourself on the losing end, try to remember that you can always buy it later on Marketplace for a fraction of the cost of playing.
Eventually, I did see a few sets listed on Marketplace, but by then, I’d already spent nearly L$6,000 on one machine. Oops.
Sorting my inventory is a huge part of my Slife, but even though I try to find a home for every folder, I can’t ever seem to get the items in my Objects folder under control. Whenever things land in there in a nice tidy package, they pretty much get lost along with all the other objects.
Last night I went on an unpacking spree and found some really cute stuff, and some stuff I didn’t know I had (hello tons of prefab homes!), oh and some stuff that are no longer relevant (past holiday items).
I did find this super cute Stacie’s Strength outfit from Phoenix Rising! The outfit includes a beautiful high-waist white skirt, pants, top, and jacket. I am wearing the skirt&top version, and pairing it with a simple Frilly Little Bra (Ivory) from Whippet & Buck.
What I’m Wearing:
Laqroki – Pearl 07 [Fair] Glow Skin
Friday – Scarlett (Happy Blond)
HOD – Hopeful Rosar
Phoenix Rising – Stacie’s Strength (Magenta)
Whippet & Buck – Frilly Little Bra (Ivory)
Courtisane – La Sauvage (Champagne)
AtomicBambi will be releasing these Apple skins very very soon and they’re delicious, just like their name. I’m wearing the Sunblush skin tone in Ocean and Juicy makeup. That’s riiiiiiight, the makeup on the right is called Juicy and it’s really pretty.
Hello Hon I would like to trade links with you. Contact me in world Asheni Damiano if you need to.
Just wondering what this skin/makeup is, it’s very pretty~
