I fall in and out of love with skin brands, depending on how much I like the faces. Around December of last year, I fell out of love with Curio. It has been 8 months since my last review of Curio skins, and in those 8 months nothing really lured me back until Gala Phoenix released these new Candy skins, and they are oh so delicious.
Gala Phoenix is the queen of sweet young faces, and her range of makeups is stellar. I love that for a mere $3,000L, all skin tones, makeups and options are included.
As a long time fan of Gala Phoenix and her gorgeous skins, I am so happy that Candy is closer to what I use to love about Curio skins back in 2008/2009. I think that Candy’s face is slightly lighter than the body (but not as bad as on the previous skins). I can totally live with this, cos the face is so so sweet, but it may be more noticeable on darker skin tones. Check out the demos before you buy, of course.

These two newly released hairstyles from Exile are rigged mesh, and sooooo pretty! They may be my favorite mesh hair so far this year, cos everything just falls into place, and no alpha prims are in the way obstructing my lashes! I love thisssssss….. and they’ll also be perfect for skin photography cos it shows off the face very well.
I think I haven’t worn anything from Whippet & Buck since mid-2010 cos the designer (Dakota Buck) said that my look was generic and dated, and that I am not a fashion blogger but a shopping blogger. I guess it offended me a bit, so I deleted every W&B item from my inventory and overlooked all the new releases for about a year and a half now? I will say that I don’t mind if my blog/look is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I see a lot of bloggers/shoppers wearing W&B items that I would consider far more dated than me or even more generic. If some designers only want certain people to shop at their brand or blog their items, they should make that clear… so generic people don’t make the mistake of showing their brand any love.
Since I’m on the official press team for Collabor88, I’ve decided to give W&B another whirl. Hope you guys like the lingerie, it’s quite lovely and is available at this month’s Collabor88 event.

A MANA Shoe HUD is included to easily customize skin tone, nail polish and resize. This HUD also includes extra features I have not seen with any other shoes in SL: Glow and Shiny. I don’t find Glow or Shiny useful if you are going for a ‘realistic’ look but for Sci-Fi or Fantasy avatars? This makes perfect sense.

Tekuteku & Kunglers New Stuff!!
[ 1. Cotton 2. Gloss 3. Naughty 4. Shake – All in Pink textures ]I went to Tekuteku this morning and the new build is totally awesome!! They have added a ton of new hairstyles, I had a small hairgasm moment. There seems to be new textures too, which I'm super thrilled about since there's a wider range than before. Tekuteku hair is still 'no mod' but has a built-in resizer script. I'm not a huge fan of that, but thankfully it worked for me so I won't have to bitch about how much no mod hair sucks.
Kungler's has just released some new clothes and there's a wide range of items released this time. From dresses, to bikinis and some gorgeous tops. I'm thrilled they released a bunch of pink & white items. <3 I'll just let the pictures do teh talking, they're fabulousss….

Catch Lily, LeeZu
Catch Lily is a newly released dress from LeeZu! I’m wearing the Beige color, but there are several to choose from. The Catch Lily dress includes flexi and non-flexi versions of the skirt and two skirt types (I’m wearing the regular skirt, but the BabyDoll style is a slimmer fit).
I pretty much like everything from LeeZu, so check it out if you’re looking for something cute to wear.
Truth has just released 4 new hairstyles – 3 are for women, and 1 for men (or unisex). I’m wearing the Anise (headband is color-changeable!), Noah, Nela and Melody in Swedish blonde.

Albero is having a dollar fair for the holiday’s (as in one RL dollar USD, or about 260L). But there are things cheaper (its 260L or less, I seen a lot around the 100’s) And Most if not all is transfer. IF your friend is a big shopper, take her around and let her browse (if she isnt the see it and have to buy it type, if she is perv it alone then take her with you). Ok, lets pretend she isnt the see and buy it type. Let her look around, and when she see’s something she loves and goes “hmm, maybe I should get it, what do you think”, down play it, say eh you can come back later etc, and when she’s looking off, sneak and buy it (I even seen some gift boxes *free I think or cheap*). And get her 1 to 2 things depending on your budget. Theres sooo many stores there that she’s bound to like atleast 1 thing. Hope I helped, oohhh and also might sound less personal or clever or whatever but IMO I love gift cards, so if you know her fav store(s), get a giftcard thats good for atleast one hair or outfit (so 200 to 300L is usually good unless its a high dollar store and 200 or 300L would be like a discount card :s).

You know, Doctor Austin has the DAPCI PLUS Zero Prim Rezzer (marketplace) that’s -really- good and easy to use. The best one I’ve used anyway. Maybe try using it on some objects to free up enough prims for the skybox?
