Milana is the hair store that doesn’t release very often (once or twice a year only) but I love it when there is a new release! I’m loving these new flowy long hairstyles, they’re so cute in these hair colors above. I tend to wear too much Platinum hair colors, so I’ve been trying darker Blonde shades and even Light or Dark Brown. My friends seem to like Blonde Gogo more, but I must say…. Brown might be a permanent 2012 thing 🙂

Photo taken @ my Victorian (Linden Home) I’m honestly kind of impressed that Second Life is actually making a move on the Old Linden Homes. There’s even an eviction date now: May 19. When I wrote about this two weeks ago, I figured it was still a ways off, but apparently it’s happening. Naturally, some residents will be upset by this “sudden” news, even though the signs have been there since Bellisseria launched. These homes have been marked for closure for a while now.
That said, I think this is a smart move for Linden Homes overall. We need people to shift over to Bellisseria and take the available homes. I totally understand that losing your place is upsetting. Some people really don’t like change. I’ve even caught myself wondering how I’ll feel one day, maybe decades from now, when Second Life decides to shut down Bellisseria. Honestly, I’m already sensitive to changes and updates in the Linden Home regions. Sometimes I’m excited, especially when there are new models to play with. Other times, I dread it and worry it might be the thing that makes me leave.
If you’re reading this and you’re still living in one of the Old Linden Homes, don’t panic. This is an upgrade. You’re getting twice the land impact and a more active neighborhood. Bellisseria isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. It’s likely to be around for at least another ten years, so you’re not being pushed out overnight.
Also, I can’t remember if I blogged about the Aperture Viewer yet, but I tried it last month and was genuinely impressed. You can take raw photos in Second Life that look like they’ve already been edited in Photoshop. I’ll probably stick with this viewer for a while because I love shiny new things. The sliders are super fun to experiment with, and it’s helping me look at my photos in a new way. I’m even playing with colors I usually avoid, like black and white.

Straying away from colors today cos I wanted to wear a monochrome outfit. This fabulous outfit is the Dismay Princess top and tutu from Fishy Strawberry. The top includes a HUD to change graphics or keep it plain. I love that Fishy Strawberry included the HUD with all the graphics!
Speaking of HUDs, I feel that they are a must-have when it comes to mesh clothing pieces. I like having options! These gorgeous Irina Heels from Ricielli also includes a HUD to change every single part on the shoes, which is how I was able to match it to my outfit. Praise HUDs!

Albero is having a dollar fair for the holiday’s (as in one RL dollar USD, or about 260L). But there are things cheaper (its 260L or less, I seen a lot around the 100’s) And Most if not all is transfer. IF your friend is a big shopper, take her around and let her browse (if she isnt the see it and have to buy it type, if she is perv it alone then take her with you). Ok, lets pretend she isnt the see and buy it type. Let her look around, and when she see’s something she loves and goes “hmm, maybe I should get it, what do you think”, down play it, say eh you can come back later etc, and when she’s looking off, sneak and buy it (I even seen some gift boxes *free I think or cheap*). And get her 1 to 2 things depending on your budget. Theres sooo many stores there that she’s bound to like atleast 1 thing. Hope I helped, oohhh and also might sound less personal or clever or whatever but IMO I love gift cards, so if you know her fav store(s), get a giftcard thats good for atleast one hair or outfit (so 200 to 300L is usually good unless its a high dollar store and 200 or 300L would be like a discount card :s).

You know, Doctor Austin has the DAPCI PLUS Zero Prim Rezzer (marketplace) that’s -really- good and easy to use. The best one I’ve used anyway. Maybe try using it on some objects to free up enough prims for the skybox?
