R.icielli released tons of skull-themed items for Accessory Fair 2011. I hardly ever wear skull things, but I just love how these turned out. They’re not your typical skull accessories, these are classy and very well done.

The new UBU Drunks by Urban Bomb Unit are incredible!! I'm a huge fan of UBU so I was so excited to see a new release and especially the new Customizer HUD which makes customizating SO much easier and more fun too! I'm truly amazed by the sheer number of options available, every part of this shoe that you see here is customizable with different colors and fabrics choices. Another perk is they are unisex! I've tried to make a variety of customs to show you that they really suit any mood – girly, army, gold (is that Burberry fabric I see?), and platinum!
In addition to the drop-down menu to change size, here is the new customization HUD. When you click a part of the shoe that you want to mod, it will turn red on the HUD. You can select several pieces at once to mod if they will have the same texture. This is genius…. I LOVE IT.
The attention to detail is amazing and everytime I get my hands on a new pair of UBU, I keep thinking they'll be the last pair I'll ever need. But with great shoes, one pair is never enough. I have every pair of shoes from UBU and I still get excited when there's a new release.

The man in this picture could be anything. He’s got fair skin and light eyes. His long hair are put into braids, and his cheekbones are prominent. Even if he didn’t match the race you think I said he was, he is that because I deem him to be.
He is me–as a male, in the grid. I created him to be more creole-looking than my female counterpart, which I still think doesn’t look that Caucasian to me. Before I donned a mesh head with either gender identity, my avatar resembled my grandmother–a creole woman who would probably cut her hair short and dye it bright red if she were the age I am now.
Even if I change bits of myself in the game, I carry my heritage with me. I know other black users who along with me, mix and match hair, eye colors, and skin tones. We don’t do it to escape–but some black users do. I don’t fault them for it because I understand the grid isn’t very tolerant of us.
Second Life has been used as a means of escape for so many people. In the end, though, we’re just that–people. It’s inevitable that things like civil rights would rear their head here after a while. Let’s discuss Fitted Mesh today. I am wearing the new Giselle Romper from Teefy, and it is fitted mesh! Without any additional adjustments to my mesh body (or alpha), the romper just fits around me! YES! Fitted Mesh is fairly new, and not many brands are on board yet. I’m excited that Teefy finally released a fitted mesh item! Moving forward, this will make dressing so much easier, not to mention my inventory count much lower! No more “standard sizes” that were anything but standard. It’s really hard to create items to fit every shape and size, but fitted mesh should work with most bodies! Fitted mesh isn’t perfect, but it’s still amazing and it’s something that every brand should consider offering.

The Magic of Oz sim has these cute little food dispensers thing near where I rent my shop. I wanted a piece of plain toast, but the dispenser gives you a random food item for 20L. Sooo… I got Charred Toast first 🙁 After the second try, I scored a piece of Strawberry jam toast, but that’s good too!! Mmmm.. The toast has a HAPPY face!
I’m playing around with PS this morning, since I’ve just installed a billion brushes, courtesy of Ryker Beck 🙂 When I reinstalled my PS a few weeks ago, I lost all my brushes so yah… sadness! But I’m happy again, I’m so easily pleased 😛
Went on a small shopping spree yesterday. One of the items I got was this new skin from JM:Mai. It’s sooooo cute.. I <3 you JM:Mai Skins!!! I’m wearing the Byeol skin, but there are at least half a dozen different skin lines at the shop.

I went to FaMESHed not knowing that its the 7th anniversary celebration, so it was truly a surprise to see gifts from most of the brands! I love when brands give out nice gifts, so I’ve included some of them into my outfit today.
Another surprise is Mon Tissu relaunching their brand after a 5 year hiatus, with a small collection of clothing and accessories. The brand also added Apple Fall as a third designer, so it’ll be interesting to see how these three designers collaborate.
I opened a bunch of the free gifts at FaMESHed to show you that there’s some cute stuff, so be sure to visit before the event ends.
