Aphotic Gloom Eyes

“Where are your eyes from?”

Last year, some SLUniverse peeps said I was a bad blogger, cos I didn’t share every single detail about my avatar, especially where my eyes  are from. I’ve already said this a bunch of times before, but I want to remain just a tiny bit unique, especially when everything in SL can be bought and worn by anyone. When I find a favorite pair of eyes, I keep it to myself for a lil while, wear it out, then move on to the next brand.

A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon Aphothic Gloom eyes and fell madly in love. I started wearing the Clarus Eyes Collection (in Blue) and a bunch of people have already inquired about them. I bribed the creator to create a custom Gogo Blue/Green eyes mix, so you cannot have mine, but you can have everything else. 😛

Rico Plisskin of Aphotic Gloom creates some of the most realistic and gorgeous eyes in SL, and if you’re not already a fan, you will be.

Shown above is the Clarus Eyes Collection, but there’s also the Aquilius Eyes Collection available, it has a darker darker ring around the iris.

…so, the post was about the eyes?

    • Gogo

where are you looking? FOCUS DON!

  2. Mili

Thanks for sharing Gogo, these eyes are quite pretty. 🙂

  3. Chance Raynier

Thank you for sharing these new eyes Gogo, just what I was looking for as I have been on the hunt for awhile now. Teal is hard color to find, it’s either too blue or too green. These are perfect!

  4. Marianne Little

They are lovely, and so affordable. I like that prim eyes are included, so it’s possible to have eyes in two colors. I have been a fan of Poetic Color eyes for a long time, but I miss that they don’t have prim eyes.

    • Gogo

      hi Marianne! 🙂

hello, just a little question about the shape that you cover all the pictures ….. could you give me the name please! I find it not very nice not to give more info in your blog about what you wear …. thank you in advance

lmfao, i love that commercial xD MY BRAAND!!

    *ahem* gorgeous eyes, though.

My comment is so not about eyes. You’ve been in a total “all white” mode. *chuckles and smiles* But, I wanted to say that I like the skin you have here. Maybe you’ve worn it before and I’ve never noticed. Hmm, then again maybe it’s the eyes? Oo so maybe my comment is about the eyes haha. *Taps her noggin* See you start typing and maybe you answer your own question a little bit.

    • Gogo

I knooooooow! I have no idea why lately, but I will try to wear some other colors. 🙂

  9. Rosalie Difference

Those are very nice Eyes Gogo, Poetic Colors was a favorite of mine for a long time, now I have to say I really enjoy my green Repulse eyes. Gives it that extra “different” feel.

Dear Rico. Howzabowt ya make me some special exclusivo Gogo eyes and I’ll tell all the gazillions of peeps that read muh blog about your eye collection… *winks*

I’m the same about my eyes and shape.
Anyone can wear anything I wear, and I’ll gladly give them creators names to search them up (or they can inspect) but I’ve spent hours on my shape, and its *mine* and I don’t want to see people dressed like me!
And my eyes are from a very obscure eye-store that, from what I can tell, has basically no customer base. So my eyes are the next thing to original in SL! (I’ve even considered taking a pic of my Rl eyes and making them my SL eyes!)

    • Lisanna

I tried to take a pic of my eyes and using them in SL as you can see here(the 1st eye under “blue eyes” is my RL one) but for some reason I don’t like it. I guess it’s because I’m not used to look at my own eyes when they aren’t on myself? Or they look too “real” when the overall avi looks more cartoon-ish?

I don’t know, but I went back to “SL eyes” and my favs are from Fashism, tho I tend to collect them (enhance the post I linked where you can see my most liked ones).

      • Cheryl

Lisanna, Your real eyes look very pretty but I think what makes them not as pretty as you’d hoped for is that the pupil is much smaller than most sl eyes. Maybe if you tried again and bounced the light source, you could keep the pupils larger for the picture. Thanks for the source on Fashism; those look great – I’m heading there now to check them out. 🙂

  12. Lisanna

Well the most interesting colors are the ~Gogo special~ so I think I shall pass. My heart goes to Fashism, for some reason I don’t like Poetic Color (I know lots of people do!)

  13. Verity

If you haven’t checked out FTL, and you like the product at Aphotic Gloom, I LOVE what they’ve been up to. The “Dawn” series of eyes are really impressive, as are the eyelash sets. See it here! https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/26419

Beautiful eyes Gogo, I was wondering if you could tell me the best place to get eyelashes? I really want some nice ones, just not sure where to look.
