I need to get more long hair poses!! My pet peeve is when people photograph hair and it sinks into the shoulders/body. I try to avoid it, but sometimes its unavoidable 🙁

Hi guys! We’re taking a field trip today, out of my skybox and heading to Cotton Hollow Farm! BabyHoney Bailey’s latest project is cute as can be, and houses her new collection of farm accessories.
I’ve pretty much escaped the chickens, turtles, bunnies craze without ever getting one cos I really don’t like a product that’s designed to give you enjoyment by costing you more money!! This farm thing though? I could dig this. Right now they don’t seem to be scripted to do anything, which is perfect. I just want to buy plants, rez them everywhere, and take cute photos.
Psst.. don’t tell Bho I’m stealing one of her tomato plants!
But if you’re into bunnies, there’s a huge bunny farm here. I’ve never seen so many in my slife. I’ve only really seen one bunny actually, so this was kind of cool and terrifying cos there was hover text everywhere.

Hello from Vivara! I found this amazing new game hall that has both freeplay and skill gaming areas. It’s trussed up like a resort (and even has a poolside lounge!), so you can hang out at the luxury bar, go see a show, do some shopping (coming soon!) and take your friends to play Greedy and MooLoTo.
The other day I watched a Greedy tournament at Vivara and saw someone win 10k. Ten thousand lindens! That’s a lot. Maybe I should ditch my canvases and go be a professional gamer?

I’m wearing the Sunny mesh head from Genesis in this post! I wish it had expressions so I could wear it all the time. However, it’s a great gift head and awesome for making outfits with. As for a more permanent head to wear, I did find one, but you’ll have to find out next post what it is.

I came across this trend that’s going viral right now with Second Life residents, where you take an SL photo and drop it into ChatGPT with a prompt to generate a realistic image. It’s fun, it’s cute. I saw my friends doing it, so of course I had to try too.
Here’s how you can create your own SL to AI Selfie! Use this AI prompt and upload a photo of your avatar to go with it. You can edit it however you like, add details, change the time of day, whatever you want.
Create an image that looks like a selfie taken with an iPhone. There should be no clear subject or specific composition, just a casual, unintentional snapshot. The image should be clear and lit evenly by daytime. The aspect ratio should be 9:16. It must not look AI-generated, but rather like it was taken by a real person.
While I was doing this, I had a moment where I wondered if any creator reading my blog is going to ban me for running my photo through ChatGPT and then I immediately decided I don’t care if people are going to be witch hunty about it.
Remember that blog post I wrote a while ago about some creators banning customers for using AI editing tools? Yeah, still relevant. Check profiles before you shop, because you don’t want to support anyone who’s going to turn around and blacklist you.
I’m screaming at how cute this new Penelo skin from Glam Affair is. I did fix a couple things on the face with Izzie’s tattoos, mostly the pinkish circles around the eyes, but overall it’s such a pretty skin. My favorite thing is definitely the lips and the lipstick, it’s the best I’ve seen on a skin in a long time.
My outfit today is the Penny dress from GAWK and I’m wearing it with the Starfish pendant necklace from SIGMA. It’s summer, you have to wear a giant starfish. This new hairstyle from WINGS is everything I want in a hair.
When I’m bored, I like to search for random things to buy on Marketplace. It’s much faster than hopping from shop to shop in-world, and is a great way to discover new-to-me brands.
Today I typed in rainbow tattoo and found this awesome Candy Sucker tattoo from (sorry guys, I’m removing their credit).
This tattoo is not subtle at all. It is colorful, and demands your attention. I looked like a candy store attacked me, and I love it!
This tattoo comes with 5 transparencies and one black and white (tintable) version. I think it’s very cool the creator included different levels of transparency, cos ‘faded’ is more realistic.
I wish it didn’t come with so many words, though! I also wanted to be able to wear just one or two of them individually, without having to wear the entire thing. The back, arms, and legs tattoos are ones I would totally wear by themselves, without all the other stuff.

SLink has just released new Glamour Platform shoes!!!!! These shoes have a sculpted foot attached and a HUD to change the toe nail color, show or hide toe rings, and change metals.
Color matching was a breeze once I figured out how the HUD works. Each of those skin tone was matched in less than a minute!
Tip: Read the notecard that comes with the shoes! I know I tend not to read notecards but it was very helpful in this case, and will prevent purple feet.. just saying!
I would say I did a pretty good job, and there are no prosthetic limbs here! Realistic feet, baby!

i like the long hair set from olive juice, i think it was out for fifty linden friday or.. super bargain saturday… or… one of those one day sales not long ago, hopefully it’s still there. long awkward pose just released some cute ones for long hair, too.
Glitterati has some great long hair poses that prevent this sort of thing from happening. It is where I have all of mine from.
There were some free hair poses at Glitterati in the Truth District, I don’t know if they worked well with long hair or not, haven’t tried them yet

Since I got that comment a few weeks ago I try to keep the “long hair” factor in mind for most of my pose packs. “Sassy Summer” is probably my best for that purpose so far.
