Alice Project released a few mesh hairstyles a few days ago, and they looked really nice on the vendor images so I immediately went to try them on. I decided to pick up this Amiya hairstyle in Blonde and to me, it looks amazing, but from the picture you can’t tell if it’s mesh hair or regular sculpted prim hair. The difference is not noticeable in still images, but you’ll see that the hair does not ‘sink’ into the chest when shifting poses.
Each hair color (I bought the Blonde pack) is scripted to change 5 different colors, and also a choice of Non-Tipped, Black Tips, Dark Tips, Light Tips, and White Tips.
As of right now, you cannot mod, resize, stretch, or edit mesh hair in any way but you can tint the whole thing (yayyyy). When trying on any mesh hair demo, if it does not fit you perfectly, either resize your head to fit OR don’t buy it. When I clicked on my hair to try and edit, there was a box around it and… well it doesn’t edit. LOL!! This hair fits me perfectly, so I took the plunge and purchased it, but a few of the other ones didn’t fit quite so well.

Now that nearly everyone is creating 2k BoM skins, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in quality. I immediately fell in love with the Yenna skin from Amara Beauty that I recently tried on. I was a huge fan of this brand until they began introducing shaded noses and freckles that I found impossible to remove. However, this Yenna skin is smooth and incredibly beautiful. I would actually wear it without any tattoo fixes; the brows are a tad bushy, but since I prefer neater brows, I chose to wear the no-brows version and added my own adjustments.
I filmed a short video clip to demonstrate how the skin looks without tattoos and gradually transforms as I apply some of Izzie’s skin fixes on top. My favorites for this skin include the Blush/Contour Remover, Eye Fix, and an additional Chin Highlight.
For this look, I’m wearing the Ethereal Essence Body Skin (Slim), which blended quite well with the Velour head skin tone. I am still hopeful for a less shiny update for this body skin, or at least having the body shine on a separate tattoo layer because we don’t always want to be that shiny.
I tp’d one of my bestest friends in SL to do a comparison pic (which I thought would take 5 mins tops!) but took 2 hours and lots of laughing on my part, cos I’m evil (slightly). I’ve known Lashy for years and her avatar has always surprised me whenever I actually see her in-world. I never know if she’s gonna be taller than me, or shorter or is an elf or human. Today I tp’d her to do comparison pics and she decided that she was too large when standing next to me, she didn’t want to be my “bigger than Gogo” example — so she tp’d home to SHRINK hahahah!!! I waited around for awhile.. but she came back my size!
The Black & White is Lashy before, and colored is Lashy-after.
note: I didn’t tell Lashy she was too big, it was entirely her choice to shrink 😛
So the conclusion is.. I have not found someone bigger than me yet, since Lashy cheated and shrunk herself.

So today's topic is Blogger's Choice, this will be interesting! I know I rarely ever talk about my friends on this blog, so it seems like I don't have any, but I do and I adore them! I'm very protective of people I'm friends with, so I don't really like to name them cos I guess I'm one of those people that are uncomfortable talking about their friends because they're so dear to me. I know, I'm totally weird 😀 Anyways, I've decided to make a list of reasons why my friends are awesome:
1. I've been pissing them off since 2007 and we're still friends! (This applies to nearly everyone, lol)
2. They give me mod rights and don't mind if I move their stuff around or accidentally flatten their golf course (Sorry Ryan!)
3. I've landed on their "shitlist" at least once a month but they still love me (Wilma)
4. They're generous, kind, awesome, and very supportive of everything I do (All of you!)
5. They give me money even though I have more (LOL Davo <333333)
6. I can tell them anything because I know all their secrets too!!
I can't think of anything else right now, but even though I rarely ever mention you guys on my website or shower you with profile picks, you know who you are. 😛

Or which shoe designers for shoes? I’ve already splurged on “Jane’s” for some mesh jeans and a couple of mesh dresses and would be delighted if you could give us the skinny!
