I’m mostly too lazy to mix-and-match different outfits, but today I wore the High Raise Hotpants from d.Select and discovered that the top portion of the Pretty Poppy dress from The Secret Store goes perfectly well with these shorts. I love this together, and the Grey Nylon Tights from d.Select completed the outfit.

My friend Sevenstar found a hairstyle named Gogolita at AMG Boudoir. She thinks it’s named after me, but I don’t know? I did make that name up (or so I thought), so I tp’d over the store to check it out. I was so relieved when the hair named Gogolita was actually pretty cute! So I bought it!
I know, I’m such a suckah for things named after me. I don’t actually WANT people to name things after me unless I know they make nice things! Cos I’m always nervous that it would turn out ugly LOL. Anyways, these hairstyles are very cute, visit AMG Boudoir!

I love farming and fishing. When I was a kid, my father took me fishing all the time. My stepmother kept our backyard filled with plants, and taught me the importance of keeping a garden. I love both of these so much, I’m more likely now to play video games that feature these two activities.
Imagine my joy when I discovered both the Life2 and G&S systems in Second Life. Although clearly meant for different time periods, both systems feature cooking, gardening, and eating to keep your energy up. Life2 is more for the modern period, geared towards city sims with families. G&S is created with Gorean and medieval sims in mind, expanded to include mining, crafting, carpentry, fishing, and raising animals.
For the player who wants to invest and bring more entertainment to their SL experience, the task of figuring out which system is best for them can be daunting. Which one should you pick? Thankfully, I’ve shelled out the cash on both of these so you don’t have to–read on to check out my comparison of both.
I’m a bit of a body skin collector and often change them depending on what suits my face skin. For years, I wore Pink Fuel body skins; they were my favorite because the shading was not heavy, and the texture was smooth with few imperfections. Even though I have several body skins that I’m happy with (including many tattoo fixes from Izzie’s), I jumped at the chance to try the free Next Level body skins from LAQ. If you use Maitreya, Legacy, Reborn, Belleza, Slink, or Omega (appliers), you’ll be able to wear these body skins. I am currently wearing it on the Maitreya LaraX body, and it’s just as good, if not better, than any body skins currently available from other brands.
I paired the LAQ 1.5 tone with my Glam Affair L005 face skin, but wanted it to be a touch lighter to match better. To fix this, I created body tint tattoos and listed them on Marketplace for L$10. If you want an exact match, like I do, be sure to check these out. You can easily tint the tattoo layers to match any face skin you’re wearing.
Recently, I found myself longing for a smooth body skin without highlights or shadows; I was tired of using dozens of body skin fixes to achieve the desired look. So, I am overwhelmingly impressed by this body skin. Mallory Cowen, the creator of LAQ, is a pioneer when it comes to texture skins in Second Life. She was among the first brands to create realistic skins with beautifully designed signature LAQ faces. I wore them for many years and think it’s nice to incorporate a bit of LAQ into my current look. I have also been asking Mallory to create some EvoX head skins, which I am know will be a success.
The generosity of some Second Life brands blows me away. Teleport to LAQ to get your hands on these free body skins.
Hello Garlic Breath at Melee Island! I went back to Hair Fair, just to get this adorable freeRoyal Crown from ISON. Nothing in my inventory matches the crown, so I bought this gorgeous Ornate Dress from Pixicat. I’m super impressed with this brand, it was my first time shopping there. The shop has a small but lovely collection of role-play items and casual pieces too. The prices are also super affordable! This dress was $400L, and includes a HUD to change the skirt fabric (9 colors) or turn the skirt off and wear just the corset.
Role-play style is not something that I do very often, since I’m not even as good at it as Arica! She’s amazing, check out her blog. Her wardrobe is so different from mine, and so fantastic that I want to steal all of her gowns and pretty things!
