I haven’t reviewed a Glam Affair skin since last year, cos I’ve always felt that the skin tone was just a little bit gray. When I saw the preview pic of the new Leah skin, I thought it looked unlike previous Glam Affair skins, it had a really youthful face and the tone looked brighter. When I tried it on, I thought it was a huge improvement over previous skins but the tone was still a bit dull. I used a warmer Windlight setting for these images cos my regular Windlight setting really washed out the skin.

I noticed that this skin has light freckles on the face & also lots of pores!! I’m not a fan of freckles OR pores, so I really debated reviewing this skin. I think if the face was smoother, the skin would look a lot nicer.
I tried this skin with both Blonde and Dark Brows, and I really like the Dark brows better. The Blonde brows looked de-saturated, and didn’t really go with light Blonde hair at all.
Even though I’m not crazy about the brows or the tone, I think that the face is very pretty and the lips shape is just fantastic. With the right Windlight setting and some tattoo blush (which I wore above), the skin can look very cute in photos.

MALT Fashions has just released the Saphear dresses in many rich and vibrant colors! Not all the colors are shown here, but they're all beautiful and so very hard to pick just one favorite. The textures on these are really nice and I love the embroidered flowers design. The Saphear dreses can be worn with a long skirt, or just the top option over shorts or pants.

Yesterday I was perusing the Second Life official forums when I came across a post for new hair. I’m a total shopping addict always on the prowl for new stuff, so I immediately tp’ed to Detour island to check out hair by Keri Clip.
Check out the Junebug hair! It’s adorable, I had to have it. This shop feels familiar…. these “new” designers have a distinctive style that I’ve always liked about FNKY Cake!
These amazing eyes set from Detour Sideways has all the elements I look for in SL eyes — reflective, tiny pupils, expressive blues.

I’m a total skin addict, so when I saw that Keri Clip of Detour had created a whole line of skin with yummilicious makeups, I had to try them all.
Detour skins remind me sooo much of the lovely Jessica skinline from CAKE. When I tried on a demo for Detour, I immediately thought of Stumbelina Ophelia’s Cake skins.
Something about the freckles on this skin is mesmerizing..

I was so excited to see Kuni at Hair Fair this year. It’s one of my favorite hair brands in Second Life. The textures look especially gorgeous when you turn on materials because there is a realistic shine that brings everything to life. It blends beautifully with SL skins and really adds to the realism of your avatar.
If you have not checked out Hair Fair yet, you definitely should. Every single item donates a percentage to Wigs for Kids, a smaller charity that could really use the support, especially right now. You get amazing hair and help a great cause at the same time. It’s a win win.

The shape is great as usual, but is it just me or is this skin kind of weird and awkward looking? It doesn’t look like a typical LAQ skin at all. The nose is contoured completely different than any LAQ skin I’ve ever seen and the whole skin looks a bit more defined…in a bad way.
