I really hate when SL vendors morph their ads! I fell in love with the flower crown, but lazybones used Lana Del Rey’s image to showcase the accessories. When people use morph ads, I assume their product is overly Photoshopped, or won’t look as nice in SL. This flower crown turned out to be quite nice, and easy to fit if you find the right hair (mine had some hairs poking out of the sides).

I’m already in the mood for Valentine’s Day colors, so my outfit is very Pink today. I am wearing the new Mesh Cropped Knit Sweater from Malt, and pairing it with the Lace Jean Mini Skirt from Dolle. This skirt is mesh, and has lace at the bottom, which I love!

What I’m Wearing:

Pink Fuel – Kumi (Peach) Pure (bwnbrow)
RezIpsa Loc – Honeysuckle Pink Nails
Truth – Ursula (Swedish)
Malt – Mesh Cropped Knit Sweater (XS)
Fishy Strawberry – Soignee White (Bra)
Dollle – Lace Jean Mini Skirt (Dark Blue) S
lazybones – flower crown
Slink – Vanity Boot (S) Light Pink
mon tissu – Oui Necklace (Gold)

I am not a big fan of morphed photos either for Ads. Especially at skin shops.

I love that cute skirt but can’t find the store. Would you please post a slurl? Thank you so much.

    I hate anything non-SL original for ad’s.
Currently on marketplace and being bombarded with RL images then SL mesh items… There’s gotta be some degree of false advertising going on, right?

  5. Lourdes

Ugh, you are better than me. I would not have been able to see past the morph.

I love Dollle items, are super cute and well made. Morph normally scares me but that one is really beautiful, and the headpiece is adorable. Great look Gogo!

I am not sure what you mean by “morphed” image, but it must be a distorted one? I would not like that either. Thanks so much for sharing such great fashion ideas!

Look at that image, Lana Del Rey is not really in SL, wearing the flower crown, or those bracelets. It is “merged” together, some element of a RL photograph, and SL things/SL avatars.

I assume the merchant has Lana del Rey’s permission to use her image in their advertisement and paid her a modelling fee?

I have my own policy: if a merchant uses a deceptive ad (such as merging…there are others)…I never buy anything from them again.

There are loads and loads of quality designers in SL, and most of them honest. Anybody who patronises dishonest or deceptive merchants is just contributing to the problem.

I personal like the outfit and got all of it but the boots I used Pink Uggs.

      Cute idea!
