What’s YOUR Beauty Base Zero?

Zero Base Beauty challenge

One of my blogging goals this year, is to take part in blog challenges put forth by other SL bloggers! Today I am doing the What’s YOUR Beauty Base Zero? from Portia Pexington.

So this is the first installment of what I’m calling my “Stylin’ Ain’t Easy” tribute to SL blogging. It’s not definitive but it is a peek at how I operate. The first step for me is what I have named my BB-0 (Beauty Base Zero); it’s a term I’ve pillaged from book two of The Hunger Games trilogy because the concept was dead on. It’s where you start, imagining your nails are perfect, your hair is tied back and you’re staring into a mirror, or your closet, wondering what the heck you’re going to wear today.

My everyday look in SL is pretty basic, so the result of my stripped down look isn’t too different from what you see on my blog posts. I prefer skins with no makeup, so I can apply my own blush, gloss, some lip tint (usually Pinkish), and lots of lashes. For this stripped down look, I’m wearing NO tattoo makeup (only the base skin), and minimal lashes. No extra body attachments (such as hands, feet), so hello… ugly feet!  What do you guys think? Is Zero Beauty Base Gogo acceptable, or does she look completely ‘newb’?

What I’m Wearing:

Pink Fuel – Kumi (Peach) Pure (bwnbrow/crease)
Exile – Colette (Stefani)
Surf Co – Hermana Tank (White)
BOOM – Feel Free Shorts (Pure)

ZBB Gogo is totally acceptable! I never met a newb who looked half as good.

    She’s a doll!

Sorry for a double post but what do you recommend as a good set of base lashes, Gogo?

Acceptable? If all noobs only looked half as yummy as your basic look, I bet ladies would love to take the challenge of learning to handle SL. Just for the sake of pampering their virtual pretty Barbie doll. 🙂

    Still so pretty though.

Gogo newb? Not even if you try hard! Love it, clean and gorgeous!

Ohhh Gogo, with this basic look, even in undies and no makeup, it’s very easy to see you are not a noob. You are perfect the way you are. Love you Gogo! Don’t we all look this way when we get up in the morning i real life…for sure i don’t sleep with false lashes… lol

If you really look anywere close to this irl when getting up, I must say it would be a delight to be able to see it in the mornings, cause despite the comparisons, I wouldn’t get any closer to it, lol.

You look beautiful and not at all newb. In fact, you could even make some post here and there (for hairs?) in this base look and still nail it.

Sorry for the bother, but I have noticed a few bloggers using the same photo layout as you have (with the double side/white line down the middle and amazingly shaded background). I was wondering what it was that you were using to take your photos? thanks

    • Gogo

That’s just an image border. It can be done in Photoshop or using an Online Editor like PicMonkey.com (what I use).
