Neva River

You might have already seen the Neva River sim featured on a few dozen SL blogs. I’m late to the party, but I tend to avoid places that are over-hyped, cos I know it will be extremely crowded and I can’t de-render anyone or anything since I use the official SL Viewer. Finally, I went today, cos I wanted to see it once before it closes to the public.

I was sick all week, but I’m feeling a lot better now. Send me some good vibes, cos being sick was just awful awful awful awful awful.

Neva River

I’m loving this new Caprice hairstyle from Truth so much, that I haven’t taken it off for days. It’s so sweet, and one of my favorites. Also, the other half of Mon Tissu released some lovely Collared Shirts, and Tulip Shorts. The shirt includes a long version, and a short (tucked in) version. This outfit is so casual, perfect for exploring new SL sims! 🙂

    One Bad Pixel

    Who are the two designers behind One Bad Pixel? If you’re good at guessing, check out the contest! You could win something amazing 🙂

    I have guessed about a dozen names myself, and still not quite sure. I am not always good at guessing designer alts, but I loooove to guess!

    I went to the opening party and the shop’s build has a Japanese tea house theme (I think) it’s very different from all the other modern or shabby chic builds that are popular now. I think you guys will like the store, it’s small but cosy, and has a room with stripping poles — not sure if that is a permanent fixture or just for the opening.

    Mopire Tokyo Subway Station

    Merry Christmas Eve! I am exploring the Mopire Tokyo Subway Station, it’s modeled after a real life subway station in Japan. I could take photos for a whole month on this sim and all the photos would look different cos there are lots of cozy places and cafes to explores, in addition to the subway station.

    I love my outfit today! Everything is from Ricielli, which is sort of one of my favorite brands in SL. I’ve said that before, right? I think they do sexy-casual clothes really well. The Rhea Sandals that I’m wearing includes a color-changing HUD to change all components of the sandals, so I was able to match it to my outfit perfectly.

    MudHoney Designs has just released the classy & elegant ‘Holiday Dinner Table’ set which includes everything seen in the picture below. There are 4 chairs with  built-in eating & sitting animations for male and female, the beautiful dinner table, and all dining accessories and table decor.

    I thought it would be fun to invite my friends over to try out the table, so we had an impromptu dinner party! 🙂

    Love the pic with the sunlight from the side, on your hair. Maybe is just me, but has a sweet feeling. Like already could sense those first, warm, but not really hot, rays of light on the skin :D. The choice of clothing also gives it this natural and casual and still pretty look. I think there is a good dynamism feel in the pics 🙂

  5. Out of interest Gogo, you’re a modern woman soooo WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY would you use the SL viewer????
    Especially now that Firestorm is so polished and full of gimmicks.

    1. I’ve never used a TPV for longer than a day. I’ve tried them in the past, especially ones that allowed previewing of poses, but in general I don’t really trust them. I guess they can be trusted now, but in the past, many popular TPVs have fallen out of favor after people discovered that they’re ‘shady’ somehow.
