I love this new Formal Blazer from Belgravia! I have a small collection of mesh blazers already, but I still like adding new shapes & colors to my wardrobe. I really appreciate creators like Jin Elfan, whom I’ve blogged pretty often over the past few years. My posts were not always glowing, sometimes I mentioned rigging issues or something I didn’t particularly like. Did she flip out? No. Does she keep improving and creating? Yes. I’m not sure if she ever reads my feedback, but I know she does get better with every release.
I’ve had my eye on this Spring collection from Vive 9 for a few weeks now. Last night, I remembered to visit the store to pick up a few demos. I did not like the mesh items enough to buy them — and both of the dresses are unlined (invisible on the inside), so I passed on those. The skirt was lined, but it also had breaks at the thighs that I didn’t like. I bought the Baby Rib Cropped Tee, which did not have a demo, which should have been a hint to me that it was not mesh, but I didn’t realize that until after I bought it. It was still cute enough to wear underneath this blazer! Usually when I am unsure of something, I will try to inspect the vendor prim to see if it had sizes (mesh) or just textures, but I couldn’t inspect the Vive 9 vendor prim since it only contained a script.
I try not to buy texture clothing anymore, since I already have tons of them in my inventory! I will buy texture lingerie and panties, though. Do you still buy texture clothing?

Sometimes, if something is particularly pretty or a colour I love, basically just something that realy does catch my eye, I still buy layer clothing. It is hard for the kinds of outfits I blog do go without layers really, to full out the gaps. Too much mesh layering often lets you look like a fat, deformed blob. :/
when i went full on mesh i went on a rampage and deleted all my system clothing. prims became the devil to me.
then i realized that a lot of jackets/blazers don’t do well with mesh tops. so i had to go back and buy some painted shirts. i notice some stores still have a lot of system tops and dresses to cater to the people who need ‘appliers’ i think they can do that in mesh too, not sure, as i am small breasted in the game.
I still buy textures clothing – I find them easier to mix and match than a lot of the mesh items out there.
I love layering clothing with mesh things. I tend to do this with tanks or underwear. Also–leggings, lots of those.
Hell No System’s a No-Go! (said in the ‘hell no we wont go’ chant voice).
At MOST I’ll put a system bra on if a mesh top is just a little too sluttish.
And obviously I wear system stockings (though with my slink feet now, the variety is currently less!)
But tops and pants? NOPE!
Yes because mesh jeans just never seem to fit me right no matter how much shape tweaking I do.
I don’t know what you changed or if you changed anything at all before you took this picture but it is FABULOUS. You look awesome.

Yeah, I still buy system/layer clothing. A little less now than before, but I still find it necessary, because not all mesh fits with one another. Some times I have Mesh shirts that don’t fit over Mesh pants, and other times I have Mesh pants that make my lower half look dis-proportioned and odd. So layered clothing works in handy to fix these things. Plus, my favorite boots are Mesh and calf high, and I can’t wear them with mesh jeans.
I still love textures. There are many good ones out there.
