Hi everyone! Some residents on Juicy sim have a monthly themed event called The Candy Factory. If you’re interested in being a part of this as a designer, the application is still open for August. In the mean time, you can still stop by and shop some of the fabulous July items!
I don’t always do hunts in SL, but I did the Halloween Swaginator Hunt for fun. It was quick hunt with only 4 things to find! You must wear the free HUD from the Swaginator gift-giving station before you start the hunt.
Important tip: When you teleport to your locations, be sure to stand close to the grave/giant pumpkin before you click on it to receive the gifts and the next hint. The hint is spoken in local chat, so if you’re too far away, you won’t see the next hint, and the object will not repeat it (frustrating).

Way back in the day, when the platform was new and some of you reading this weren’t born yet, Second Life residents could purchase a Lifetime account for $159.95 (later raised to $225) that offered them 4096 sqm of free land tier along with a generous L$500 weekly stipend.
Ever since I became a Premium member in 2019 to get a Linden Home, I’ve been asking Second Life to bring back Lifetime accounts. Well, it looks like my pleas have finally been heard because Patch Linden referred to it during the SL20B Opening Ceremony! We don’t have all of the details yet, but based on Patch’s speech and the SL20B Global Sweepstakes Grand Prize being a SecondLifetime Premium Subscription, this is a clear signal that Second Life is bringing back an updated version of the Lifetime account and calling it SecondLifetime Premium.

Second Life residents are generous. I see it throughout the year with events that support all kinds of charities, both big and small. One thing I know for sure is that 2025 has been a difficult year for many people. That makes it even more heartwarming to see residents continue to give their time and money to good causes.
Hair Fair has been around for a long time and continues to support Wigs for Kids. This organization may be smaller than others you might recognize, like American Cancer Society, but that makes your support even more meaningful. Smaller charities often feel the impact of donations in a much bigger way, and the money raised in Second Life truly helps them keep going.
As someone who loves hair in both lives, I know we can all understand how important it is. For kids dealing with illness and hair loss, it means even more. I encourage you to visit Hair Fair and support your favorite creators, because they showed up for a charity that helps children in a real and lasting way.
