I visited Maria Lynn Falls, a gorgeous sim inspired by the beauty of Kerala, India. I love this sim’s decor so much, there were animals and flowers everywhere! Have you guys visited any gorgeous sims lately?

Second Life makes a lot of effort to get users to upgrade to Premium Plus, but they keep falling short. I occasionally upgrade my alts to Plus in order to get the Linden Home concierge service, but none of the other features—not even the larger land holdings—interest me. I was immediately interested in reading today’s blog post on the new SpeedLight benefit for Plus members. Even though I don’t to use Second Life on my phone, it would be convenient to be able to send money, chat with friends, and perform some basic land administration.
What exactly is SpeedLight and do you need Premium Plus to use it? SpeedLight is a mobile viewer that is free to use. You don’t need Plus or Gold (which costs L$1,990 Lindens a month) unless you want to utilize some extra features like 3D World. So I thought to myself, if 3D World renders Second Life as good as the low graphics settings on a viewer, I would be okay with that.
For a long time, I haven’t been able to take more than a few photos without crashing once my inventory has fully loaded. My inventory count has also not been less than 50,000 items for a long time, perhaps 2-3 years. As you guys know, I have been reducing my inventory count drastically, and it’s not cos I mind having a large invy (I’m very organized) but I want to fix this annoying crashing when taking snapshots issue once and for all!!
I’ve noticed that ever since my inventory went from 130K -> 90K -> less than 75K, I can take photos again, without having to clear cache every single time I want to take pictures!
Can you take just a few seconds to answer my poll, I want to see if 1) what viewer are you guys using? and 2) can you take snapshots with a large inventory?

What is UBER? It’s a new monthly event in SL, with a different theme each month. This month’s theme is: Vacation. Most designers in SL interpret that as a beach vacation, and I couldn’t have been happier. I am loyal to the easy, breezy, beachy lifestyle in SL!

Mmmmmmmm. Cotton Candy. This whole outfit is inspired by my yummy new Old Fashioned Cotton Candy Cart from CrackBerry. I knew I had to get this Cotton Candy cart for my sim, cos I love prim food, and I want visitors to feel welcomed when they walk around Juicy sims. I’ll be placing a few of these around the sims, so come and visitttt! Click the cart, it will give you Pink and Blue cotton candy.
I picked up this adorable Fleur Floral Blouse in Silk from vive9 at The Fashion Garet. So many good deals here, and I have no idea if they are limited or exclusives, so you should check them out! I’m pairing this top with a pair of Daisy Cutoffs shorts from Cracked Mirror. I love a nice pair of denim shorts, especially one that is short but still not too short that it shows crack or cheeks, if you know what I mean. This one is simply sexy, and pretty modest.

This is why I love Katat0nik’s stuff so much, she always has cute new releases and they’re colorful and girlie. I would much rather wear stuff like this than something more formal. Before I discovered Katat0nik, I was a big fan of lolita dresses but there wasn’t much variety. I don’t think lolita fashion is that big in SL anymore but it’s still one of my favorite ways to dress up.

Project Donate begins this weekend but I think the sim is public access now and you can teleport there to buy goodies. I made a new couple’s pose with half of the proceeds going to charity. Included in the pose pack is two different versions of a similar pose; one is called Just Friends and the other one is called More Than Friends. This pose is very sweet and perfect for photographs 🙂
