Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?
Sunday has rolled around again, which means it’s time for chores like laundry. In Second Life, I don’t often choose lingerie, but when I do, I prefer Bakes on Mesh for easy layering. They’re great for layering under other clothes to keep my look tasteful.
I’ve also made a point of wearing actual underwear lately, instead of just turning on the alpha on my pelvis.
Recently, I picked up a charming Nyla bra and panties set from Ison, and guess what? It’s a group gift, and joining the Ison group is free! When I first wore this set, I noticed the nipple area was quite prominent. But no worries — I just used the Bakes on Mesh add-ons from Maitreya and everything looked much smoother.
It’s pretty interesting in Second Life how some clothes really go into detail in certain areas, if you get what I mean! Thankfully, some thoughtful designers offer solutions to soften those details.

It’s Bubblegum Weekends!! I am bending the rules a bit today by wearing Blonde hair with a Fairyfloss Pink streak in it. Ohhhhhhh and, I have bubblegum!
I’m wearing my AOHARU ScarfVest top with new Zaara Denim Shorts and new Maitreya Gold YaXkin sandals. I love how the Sienna-Duo color on the sandals matches the belt on my top.
What I’m Wearing:
Truth – Danni (Streaked) Swedish
Laqroki – Linnea (Fair) Light Brows – 01
AOHARU – ScarfVest (LeoPink)
Zaara – Denim Shorts (Ivory)
Maitreya Gold – YaXkin (Sienna-Duo)
Pink Fuel – Yum Bubblegum!
Wheeeeeeeee! COFFEE!
Tuli has just released the new Sara skins and in my opinion, these are my the best Tuli skins to date. I love the skin tones and textures now, and the options available are amazing.
Sara comes in two series of skin tones, according to the release notecard, these new tones – Pearl, Powder, Petal and Peach have “enhanced Pink hues” and they look amazing. I love skin tones with Pinker hues, they work better on Blondes and lighter hair colors.
Each skin tone includes: 6 Skins (with different eye-makeup)
4 Different Brows color: Light Blonde (on tattoo) | Dark Blonde (on tattoo) | Medium Brown (on tattoo) | and Dark brows (on the skin)
And 12 lipstick tattoos!! Pretty much everything natural lipstick color option is covered here. I would love to see some more “fantasy” colors too.
My only “issue” with this skin is the highlights are a bit too strong. I’m wearing this in Powder tone, and I thought they were too shiny on the legs, but overall the body is nice.
Annnnnnd, last but not least! Elikatira released 3 new hairstyles. I’m wearing them all in this post:
Elikatira – Paper | Rythm | Theory
What I’m Wearing:
to one lounge – Godetia (rose) kinariiro
Reek – Patteson Flip Flop (Girls)
Shout out to Hamlet’s Patreon for consistently recapping exciting Second Life news before everyone else. I suppose that is what being an insider is all about. I recall that years ago, Second Life was already running inside a browser through third-party services, so I have wondered why it took Linden Lab so long to offer this feature. Clearly, I am not a fan of the current mobile app. It is far too small anyway, even if it becomes functional someday. For users with high-end computers, running Second Life in a browser may not be as exciting; however, for those with low-end computers, it will be a game changer. Finally being able to run Second Life and see it as it is meant to be viewed, likely using cloud hardware, I assume? I’m not particularly technical, but many services now exist that allow users to access a higher-end computer remotely to play games or use 3D software.
Why is playing Second Life in your browser better than the mobile app? For one, whoever Second Life is trying to attract would likely prefer to experience the world on a much larger screen. During the brief few minutes that I tried SL in my browser, I found that it rendered everything quite well. Having access to the full Second Life viewer UI is essential. I can change my clothes, edit items, and perform any actions I normally would in the SL viewer.
I already see Second Life on ultra settings, so I wonder if someone who typically runs on low or mid settings will notice an improvement when viewing Second Life in high to ultra settings. If you are one of those users, please log in and let me know if you observe any enhancements.
As we begin a new year, I predict that this feature will eventually be mostly free for Premium Plus Second Life accounts, with limited usage for others. Perhaps they will even offer different plans for usage similar to streaming services. I hope that Premium Plus users receive it for free, as they should replace Speedlight access with this feature.
Will this attract new or returning users? Yes, people prefer ease of access. The mobile app is not user-friendly. This is straightforward. Will this benefit current residents? Yes, it is ideal for a quick login session to accomplish whatever tasks you need without the hassle of installing a viewer. You could likely use it on your $200 Chromebook if that is all you have.
Will this work on your mobile devices? No, it might function on an iPad, but when I logged into SL on my phone, I could not view the entire screen or access any navigation tools or my on-screen keyboard.

At last, the Zooby Newborns have arrived!!
Meet Bailey, my adorable newborn. I chose her because I love the face, but they were all irresistible and if I could I would own one of each!
The Zooby Newborns are $3,800L each (slightly cheaper than the baby) and includes so many options and features – and also works with existing furniture.
Updates are a breeze! If you’re using an older version that’s not scripted for the newborn, just rez a new copy and a free update will be delivered 🙂
Here’s a close up of Bailey’s face from eyes closed to eyes open. I prefer the eyes closed version, cos it’s sweeter.
Awwwwww, adorable!!
Inside the Zooby Ultimate Newborn Bailey 4.0 package, there is a breastfeeding bra, Zooby Partner Newborn Bailey (to give to your partner), and the Zooby Ultimate Newborn Bailey 4.0 (no trans).
The baby is using her big sister’s furniture. Changing diapers is my slife… 😛
Babies eat & sleep.. & burps! The built-in ao is awesome, I love that all the poses to interact with my baby are scripted into the menu.
The newborn is scripted with so many options (just like the Baby) – you can expect the same type of interaction even though the price is a lil less, it is just as well made and interactive.
Visit Zooby Baby!
Haha, oh fun.
