Once in a while, I dig into my sorted inventory to create my outfit of the day or the week, cos I don’t know when I will change my outfit next. My inventory is divided into sorted and unsorted. If it is sorted, then I’ve already worn it and blogged it. If it hasn’t been sorted, one of those two things didn’t happen yet, and I don’t want to forget about it.
My outfit today is actually inspired by the scene. My friend invited me to this winter sim a few days ago, when I was still wearing the summer romper from the last post. I went back to the sim to explore with proper winter clothing on, and now I feel that I can cross it off my list.

Christmas came and went, but if Santa didn’t spoil you with everything you wanted this year, it’s time for a lil’ self indulgence! What better way to spoil yourself, than with these new Exile hairstyles? There are two new hairstyles for girls (shown above), three for men, and new textures released for a few old favorites.
Mmmesh! Maitreya released a bunch of new mesh clothing pieces and shoes recently, but I have to say my favorite is this Athena sweater. The fit is pretty good and the draped back is so sexy! I passed on the long mesh skirt, jacket (too bulky) and the leather pants (didn’t like the pocket, too low), but I liked the Athena Sweater and the Silk Neck-Tie Blouse! The shoes were also not very “me” but I totally see someone with a different style rocking those. What items from Maitreya did you buy?

Calling all queens!
Enrollment for Miss Summer Beauty 2012 is now open. The winner receives not only the title of Miss Summer Beauty, but 3000L.
Here are the rules for the contest:
1. Please submit an entry picture to our Summer Beauty Flickr Group. In the picture’s description, please write your in-world name so we know who you are. Please only submit one picture–you can combine multiple panels in one picture for different shots, if you’d like.
2. Anyone can enter–but their avatar shape must be male, and dressed in drag.
3. Please use a skin that does not have much makeup on it. Bonus points if you start with a skin that is actually intended for men.
4. You have five tattoo layers you can use in Second Life. Utilize them! The tat layers can be of your own creation, or something you’ve bought from a store.
5. Have fun with your outfit. We want to see drag! Leave the pedestrian casual dresses at home.
6. At the same time, you don’t have to do the typical fishy-queen aesthetic. Show us some illusion and glamour, but be creative. Genderf*ck is fine, as long as it doesn’t look sloppy.
7. Winners must be present at the final ceremony. We not only want to see a photo, we want to see how your drag looks in person! Please don’t be too drastically different from your submission picture or else we won’t recognize you.
8. Anyone using morphs or excessive photoshop in their submission picture will be disqualified.

Oh I love the pink eyeshadow!
I am actually quite disappointed in the entire expo! I loved your stuff Gogo and bought some of the eyemakeup, but as for the rest of the expo, I felt it was mostly clothes, necklaces, bracelets, hair and other random non-body mod accessories. Specifically SHOES! There were so many shoes there!
