Christmas

Fishy Strawberry is back with a new collection just in time for Christmas! This collection includes lots of shimmery and sparkly things, perfect for this time of year! I am wearing the Peplum Dress in Crimson Red, new Dove hairstyle from Truth, Rosalinda Necklace & Earrings from Donna Flora, and Claire Heels from Ingenue.

Gift giving is tricky in SL, cos everyone already has everything. However, gift cards are always great cos your friends can buy exactly what they want! Gift giving is super easy at Fishy Strawberry, there are two options – buy directly on the vendor or send a transferable gift card.

To celebrate this holiday season, I am giving 5 JuicyBomb readers a $250L gift card to Fishy Strawberry! To win, all you have to do is answer one question. Please leave your full SL name, so that I can send the gift card to you, if you’re one of 5 winners. The deadline to answer is midnight SLT, December 23rd. I will send gift cards to the winners on the 24th and your name announced here.

Here is the question:

What do you think Fishy Strawberry means?

The answer does not have to be correct, as long as I like it, you’ll win!

Christmas

Pink Fuel Skin
Truth Hair – Dove
Donna Flora – Rosalinda Necklace & Earrings

a fish that looks like a strawberry? No wait….a strawberry that looks like a fish? 😀

  2. Rebekah Blitzstein

Clearly it means a very suspicious looking strawberry. Them fishy strawberries are not to be trusted!

  3. Blaise Glendevon

I don’t know what it ~means, exactly, but it reminds me of the old Viva Variety skit, Fishy Bar.

Well, I think Fishy Strawberry sounds like a questionable fruit. In fact, some strawberries are injected with fish genes to protect them from freezing.

I think Fishy Strawberry means a strawberry cut to be in sushi! LOL

A fishy strawberry is possibly hmmm, a strawberry that has some fishy business up on its sleeve :{D (that logic LOL and mustache smiley).

  7. Deckland McCullough

A fruit with an ulterior motive!

Fishy Strawberry means, to me, a strawberry that looks a bit off. There is something fishy about the strawberry in question. Maybe it looks too perfect and you are questioning the realness of said strawberry?

pastela.Resident / Anna Pastela or Anna Pavlova (goes back and forth xD)

  9. Sugar Aie

It is a strawberry that was grown alongside a fish… making them fishy 😀

fishy strawberry has always sounded like a funny translation to me! like a colloquial phrase in another language translated into english. my german language teacher in high school taught us that a phrase meaning “i have good luck” in german, translated literally into english as something similar to “i have pig”.. so, like that!

merry christmas, btw, gogo 🙂 i hope you have a nice holiday!

Scientists are genetically modifying strawberries in order to allow them to resist freezing temperatures better. They’re doing it by artificial transfer of genes from a species of fish called the Arctic Flounder Fish. The Arctic Flounder Fish produces an anti-freeze that allows it to protect himself in freezing waters.

They isolated the gene that produces this anti-freeze and introduced it to the strawberry. The result is a strawberry that looks blue and doesn’t turn to mush or degrade after being placed in the freezer.

    Would you eat blue strawberries?

The Fishy Strawberry is the first in a new line of produce being genetically engineered to survive and thrive in new climes that were previously inaccessible. Finally, the Merfolk have strawberries.

Means Fae has a fetishism for strawberries, a real pervert for luscious… red… perfumed… glossy… sweet… yummy and delicious strawberries. Ok I just made myself hungry now.

The fun thing is that I’m allergic to strawberries… and now that I think of it it would make sense. The strawberry is fishy because I can’t trust it. (but no, it’s not the real meaning behind the name :p)

Strawberries are beautiful, vibrant in colour and delicious. Fishy things are a bit unpleasant or stinky. Umm so translated into fashion it’s pretty and cute with a bit of sass/edge/uniqueness…

Fishy Strawberry its the name of a litle fish..
A fish that once found ,floatting, a small strawberry and ate it 🙂
Then the lil fish became more reddish..
      And the strawberry more…Fishy 😀

      Merry Xmas to alll! XoXo

I’m wondering perhaps is Fae a Beatles fan? They have been known to sing of ”Fish pies” and ”Strawberry fields forever”?
Merry Christmas Gogo, and Merry Christmas to all my fellow readers. Looking forward to more of your blog in 2014 <3

Fishy strawberry,I always thought it had to be
A reference to private female anatomy.
Tis delightfully plucked when ripe, juicy and soft-
    But,ungroomed and neglected
    Has an unpleasant waft.

  21. Michelle Shyneu

    a raspberry…?
