Luster, the new brand from Lo Jacobs (formerly Church of Luxe) is incredible. I’ve been watching teasers all week with anticipation, and the items are even more incredible in-world and in color! I am wearing three of several newly released outfits.

I adore this Tulip Riding Hood, and incredibly, it’s a FREEBIE!! You can get a free copy at the Luster main store (find the vendor on the wall). The hood includes a scripted version so you can wear it up, or down. It was so hard to find a hairstyle that would fit neatly under the hood without having to stretch it too much. I finally settled for the Juliet style from LeLutka.
If you go to LeLutka in search of the hair, don’t forget to pick up this gorgeous new LeLutka Ife ‘Haiti Editon’ skin. It is only $500L, priced well below the usual price for a single skin. The makeup is only available in Light tone, but includes all options. I typically wear Light, so I’m beyond happy about the makeup selection & skin tone. Hello from Aurelias! I just want to thank all of the visitors for your sweet comments about the region and for submitting your photos to the Aurelias Flickr group. There’s a rush in Second Life to immediately go from Christmas/Winter to Spring. We’re taking our time on Aurelias and thawing out slowly! We already planning for Spring, but I just love the snow so much that it’s going to linger through March.
I have a thing for layers, and I’m not just referring to the countless tattoo makeup layers on my face. I’m talking about clothing layers—complex and intricate outfits, which, unfortunately, are somewhat rare in Second Life. Autumn is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited to layer up and frolic around golden leaves and cozy landscapes.
Today, I’m wearing this adorable Peony dress by Cheezu, available at Kustom9. Deciding on a color was tough until I discovered that Cheezu offers the entire fatpack for just L$449! What a steal. This thoughtful pricing means they consistently get those slightly higher sales, rather than just L$300 for a single color. It’s a win-win—less decision-making for me and more value for them. More brands should adopt this smart pricing strategy.
To complete my layered look, I’ve paired the dress with an Off-shoulder cardigan from Tetra. Though this cardigan is an older release and hasn’t been updated to LaraX, it’s roomy enough to perfectly complement the LaraX dress I’m wearing. I’m thrilled I can still enjoy this piece.

My outfit today is from new-to-me store, Mutresse. I discovered this store when the creator, Eeky Cioc, sent me a nice message saying she reads my blog, so I checked out her store and found a small collection of sexy mesh items. Some of them in Pink and floral prints too, my weakness!! I’m so easily flattered, I think if people say they read my blog, or how much they love my blog, I want to love them (their creations) back. Although you can’t really see my watch, it is from the AMITOMO gacha. When I played the gacha for this watch, I didn’t know it was “no transfer” so I left the creator a message on Flickr, and she fixed it right away, and even went above and beyond, and sent everyone who played the machine ALL of the colors. Isn’t that amazing customer service? Thank you, woomi Latte.

Jewelry Fair 2011 is open! I went to all four sims with my friend Melanie, and we had such a blast sim hopping and exploring the different themes. Each sim is designed to represent the four elements – Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. My favorite sims were Air and Water — they were so tranquil!
I stumbled into the CentoPallini booth (on the Air sim), and fell in love with a couple of the jewelry sets on display. This new-to-me brand has some beautiful jewelry sets with great designs and amazing textures. I picked up the Ivory Cross in Rosa (includes matching earrings), and matching Wood Bangles. The jewelry is no mod, but is scripted to resize.
