What is UBER? It’s a new monthly event in SL, with a different theme each month. This month’s theme is: Vacation. Most designers in SL interpret that as a beach vacation, and I couldn’t have been happier. I am loyal to the easy, breezy, beachy lifestyle in SL!

I blogged the free Mia skin gift from Apple May last week, and at that time, there was only the Naturals makeup set so I waited until this gorgeous new Glamour makeup set is released before doing my review. I liked the Naturals set, but I just love colors and I think these Glamour ones are so beautiful, not too much at all, it’s just perfect.

This body is really cute, I think it really suits the face. For a new skin maker (at least I think she is new since I haven’t heard of Apple May skins prior to Mia), I think that she’s very good. Yes I know my vag is showing!! I had considered putting a star there, but it’s not like you guys haven’t seen it before… many, many times.
KA Designs has just introduced a new skin line, Bardot, and the first face in this line is Molly. I think Molly has a flawless look, the skin texture is SO smooth, and I love the shape of the brows.
Each Molly skin tone comes with 10 makeups, 3 brows options, and 3 hair base options (to match the brows).
My outfit today is a mix-and-match of some pieces from Ricielli. This brand is new to me, and I really like their styles & variety of colors. I was surprised to find the shop already has so many clothing pieces released!! I’m wearing the Ricielli Ballone top and Longtop 2, and pairing it with the Ricielli Joanne high waist short in various colors.

A touch of lace added to clothing makes it so much more feminine and interesting. The Emma top and shorts from The Secret Store has just the right amount of lace and a vibrant grapefruit pattern. I have mentioned this before, but most furniture in SL have built-in poses that are too awkward for nice photos. Which is why I went to the marketplace and bought a pretty sitting pose for today’s photo, instead of using one of the built-in ones that comes with this bed. The pose is from a store called Secret Body; the creator is a fellow blogger that I’ve followed for a long time on Flickr. I love when bloggers create things, such as poses, cos we’re pretty much experts when it comes to hiding bad angles and posing pretty.

Have you ever wondered what AI thinks you could do to improve your Second Life face? I uploaded two photos to ChatGPT, front facing and profile, and asked what I could do to make my avatar’s face better. Surprisingly, it said my face was nearly perfect, but that my eyes were too big. Omg, were my eyes too big?
It actually gave me some helpful tips, so I nudged the sliders a bit here and there. One of the things I’ve always been concerned about is my profile. It has to be great. ChatGPT suggested making my chin protrude a little more and my lips protrude a little less.
Another critique ChatGPT had for me was that my usual lashes were too glam, too full. I dialed it back with a new set of wispy lashes, but I don’t think I care about that critique. I love thick full lashes!
This new Twirl hairstyle from Truth Collective is so sweet. It’s a relaxed style with a low ponytail. I’m always super excited when I see a hair from Litterbug, Truth’s real life daughter. She might be the youngest hair creator in SL right now? And her side gig is making real life money, probably better than most experienced creators. When your father is one of the best… it’s expected. I’m glad the hair legacy continues.
I also tried on the new Halcyon Maxi and Shorts from Tres Blah, and purposely picked the print that reminds me of porcelain plates. I love it. This delicate print is perfect for lounging around the house. Even though we’re heading into summer, I decided to dial back my skin tone from 004 back to 003, a lighter tone that reminds me of a porcelain doll too.

Hello from the 4th of July Block Party! This delightful mainland parcel may be small, but it packs a punch with its many photogenic spots. When it comes to Summer holidays, gingham print always springs to mind, reminiscent of a classic picnic blanket.
To celebrate the Fourth of July, I’m rocking this Spring Tied Halter top from Fashionably Dead. To complete the ensemble, I’ve added the Blair Headband (4th of July print) from Sparkle Skye. Both of these items are part of the weekend sale at their main store, so grab them while you can!
Since transitioning to using a PBR viewer full-time, I’ve been tweaking the colors of my skin and body. I previously wore a body skin from Not Found but have since switched back to The Skinnery. The Luna body skin from The Skinnery is stunning, offering a myriad of options. I’ve reviewed it before, and was thrilled when they released the fabulous Body Bundle—it addresses several of my personal preferences, prompting me to give the body another go. Now, if only skin designers could offer face skins with neck options or none at all, it would make blending with our body skin choices so much easier.
LG Pd’A has just released the new Dumah skin in six skin tones and 8 makeups. This skin also includes Light, Dark and Red brows, hair base, a prim hair attachment, and cleavage enhancer.
