Laq – Maxine Mesh Head
Hello Maxine! This new mesh head from LAQ includes the Evelyn skin applier, and a HUD to change features, expressions, and save settings. I am wearing Pink Fuel skins made for LOGO mesh heads (Kiyomi base, and Morgana eyeshadows) and LAQ lipstick. This mesh head should work with any OMEGA skin; but the fit varies. I was happy when I discovered that the Kiyomo skin from Pink Fuel works really well with this head!
The HUD for Maxine is easy, I especially like the lash options (3 different styles, length is adjustable), and the ability to save my makeups in the Looks tab.
With just a single head attachment, Maxine is very easy to wear. The head includes standard animated expressions that can be frozen for still photos too.

Sweeter than Apple pie
There are some big changes at Truth! A new build, vending system (store credit), and new textures packs! My favorite Blonde color seems to be “gone” and replaced with LightBlondes 01, its less platinum sister. Rest in peace, Swedish Blonde.
Shown above is a picture of the old hair colors chart vs. the new one. As you can see, tons of colors are gone, and replaced with similar (but fewer) color choices. I’ll miss the Coolmint and Fairyfloss too colors too, they were so vibrant and lovely.
Truth has six new hairstyles out, and my favorite is the Sadie, cos it’s so retro and cute! It also includes a color-changing bandana headband. I took these photos at the artilleri sim, cos Antonia Marat is the retro queen in SL, even if she’s on a long hiatus or retired from SL creating.

I really like being surprised with gifts like this, even though I have no space for it in my house. I’ve decided to make a spot for it on my beach, right on the grass. I think it’s perfect here. My island has tons of furniture outdoors cos I haven’t found homes for them, so I try to blend them in with the landscaping.
All the poses seen below are built into the tub. There are lots and lots and lots of them. I love it!

Vintage Denim
I’ve been playing with the Mirror-water effect since last year, and I think it is the coolest effect ever!! I’ve managed to get reflection following the tutorials, but it was too dark or jagged. I’ve finally figured out my Windlight setting for water, to create a brighter reflection, but I still had to Photoshop the reflection to make it smoother. I’m loving the effect, what do you guys think?

/UPDATE/ With shadows turned OFF, the reflections are smooth, not jagged. I hardly ever take photos without shadows though!
This lovely new hairstyle is Cerise, from DeLa. It is rigged mesh, and I just love the Blonde textures. All the hairstyles and demos are on Marketplace, which is a major plus in my opinion!
I have had my eye on this Vintage Denim dress from tram for a few weeks. I love the style, length, and the options! It comes with two different belt options, and all Standard mesh sizes. This dress goes perfectly with the soon-to-be released Aelia Wedges from Celoe. You won’t have to wait long, a birdie told me it’ll be out very soon.
