Welcome to my Country Chic Dining room from LaCahute! After a few years, I’ve finally updated my dining set, and I’m so in love with this French country-inspired set. I’m keeping this for a long time, cos it matches the rest of my home perfectly. Gogo lives in a French country/beach/retro home LOL!! I like it all, and I try to blend it all together.

I bought this LeLutka fur hat & muff set about a month ago, but I had absolutely no idea what to pair it with. So it sat in my inventory for awhile until I found the perfect item to pair it with — Sweetest Goodbye’s newest ‘Bad Girl’ furry vest!
Sweetest Goodbye’s ‘Bad Girl’ vest comes in White, Grey, Brown and Black. I’m wearing Djinn & Tonic’s Knit Coat underneath the vest and pairing it with Anexx’s 2WayBeltLaceUp Boots.

Lace will always be one of my favorite things in SL, but alpha clothing & alpha hair clashes in a bad way! Does this happen to anyone else? Thankfully the Jemma hairstyle from Exile has the hair swept behind the shoulders so it doesn’t clash with my outfit. I am wearing the Maya Lace Shirt and Lucy Lace Skirt from The Secret Store in a sweet Camelia red color. I missed doing a Valentine’s Day outfit this year, so this makes up for it!
MudHoney Designs has just released the classy & elegant ‘Holiday Dinner Table’ set which includes everything seen in the picture below. There are 4 chairs with built-in eating & sitting animations for male and female, the beautiful dinner table, and all dining accessories and table decor.

Elle the Elf – has a nice ring to it, eh? I used to Role Play quite a bit of Second Life before my long hiatus. As of late, I have thought about dipping my toe back into the Role Play pool. But this time I want it to be ultra fantasy – high fantasy even. I want to immerse myself in a world of elves, faes, magical beings, etc, and so on. You might wonder, where did all this elven inspiration come from? Well, my friends, it came in the form of the somewhat off-beat Lelutka release knowns as “Prim”.

I was captivated by a feature on New World Notes and felt a sudden urge to explore it myself. Though I’m unable to hop on a plane right now, fortunately, you can take a virtual trip to Thailand and witness the mesmerizing beauty of this region. It’s truly a must-visit, even if only online. The virtual replication of real-life places allows us to appreciate their splendor right from our screens.
Have you ever wondered what to wear when visiting a lotus lake? In my case, I took the more whimsical route and stayed in my Victorian attire! Recently, I visited Midnight Order, where I picked up a few splendid accessories to spruce up my wardrobe. One noteworthy find was this Renee Parasol from Soapberry. This beautiful parasol is animesh, meaning you cannot resize it. Make sure to try a demo to ensure it fits your avatar perfectly before making a purchase. There’s a charming spinning animation built into the parasol, adding a delightful touch to its already exquisite design. Surprisingly, I did not own a lace parasol, so I seized the opportunity to add this enchanting item to my collection.
My friend Fay sent me the most beautiful gown from Sofia. It’s the Cher gown and sandals, exclusively available at The Arcade. With our fancy new gowns, we decided to twin and revisit the formal dance club for another twirl. But the second we got to the club, Fay changed her gown at the door, leaving me standing there in this elegant gown with a long chapel train, looking all glamorous by myself.
I wanted to see if my initial impression of the club was accurate, and it turns out, it was. To capture this quirky experience, I filmed it to practice working with crowded scenes and to show you why I find this club so bizarre. There’s a bunch of guys just standing around, silent and rarely asking anyone to dance. Maybe they’re bots? I have no clue what they’re waiting for. The people dancing mostly came with their partners. After awkwardly dancing alone with Fay for what felt like ages, I accepted a quick dance from someone and then left.
I really love the concept of a formal club; it’s such a great chance to practice filming different angles. But finding a dance partner who matches your height, aesthetics, will actually ask you to dance, and isn’t hitting on you the whole time seems like an impossible ask.
Dancing is a popular activity in Second Life, enjoyed by everyone, whether solo or with friends. I haven’t frequented clubs much before, but I’m thinking of starting! I’ll give them all a try. If you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments!
