Events, events, events! We <3 Role-Play opened! I found a poison apple from deviousMind (part of the Lil’ Miss Snow set) there. I didn’t wear the dress cos I’m holding out for something sweeter. I will do a Snow White-inspired look in the future, when someone makes a short mesh dress that’s sweet and Gogo-esque (Looking at you Katat0nik).

Happy Sunday! There’s something incredibly charming about smaller spaces— they radiate coziness, and it’s quite simple to create a full, inviting room with just a few pieces. With the help of my friend, Fay Starlight, we’ve assembled three delightful rooms using furniture and decor from the latest Anthology releases.
Bazar – Kay Bedroom
The bedroom we designed showcases the Kay bedroom set by Bazar, which offers a complete suite for crafting a comfortable space. It includes a bed with an array of textures at your fingertips, as well as a classic fireplace that brings a slice of warmth and realism to the setting.
Moving over to the living room, we selected items from Blue Sky, another gem found at Anthology. The Alpaca armchairs and ottoman by Blue Sky add a touch of whimsy with their delightful fuzzy texture. The centerpiece here is the splendid Blue Sky Cusco Console, complemented by an elegant Gold Leaf Abstract artwork, versatile enough to harmonize with decor accessories from various home and garden creators.
I’ve been taking full advantage of the ISON 40% sale before it ended and indulging in some weekend sales too. One of the treasures I picked up is the gorgeous Alayna Silk Shirt from ISON, and I couldn’t resist getting it in all the colors. It’s simply stunning! I also grabbed these adorable Fluffy Kitty Ears headband from Litterbug at Truth’s store. They add a sweet touch to any outfit.
Lately, I’ve been creating a bunch of bright EEPs (Environment Enhancement Project) for my blog. I like adding shadows, even though most Second Life residents aren’t fans of them on their faces. For me, shadows cast by the sun in studio lighting really make the fabric of the Alayna Silk Shirt stand out, even if it doesn’t feature any PBR textures.
During my visit to Shop & Hop, I picked up an amazing gift from Moon Amore. The Bride’s Dream Gown I found is perfect for fantasy or royal cosplay themes, like something straight out of Bridgerton.
For the past few years, I’ve made it a point to pick up the AO gift from BodyLanguage SLC. There are always a few great poses to mix into my regular AO. This year’s entire AO impressed me; it has all the basics you need to avoid standing like a noob. It’s perfect for your main avatar and great for alts too!
If there’s one month to put spiders in your hair, it’s October. Who knew arranging tiny jeweled spiders could be so fun? The Along Came a Spider set from Sparkle Skye includes jeweled spiders and a delicate metal web with pearls that you can wear as a hair clip. I never thought I’d actually put a spider in my hair in Second Life, but here we are. They’re small enough to scatter throughout your hairstyle, so you can create your own unique spooky accessory.
Riq Graves of Reek has so much talent, it’s almost unfair! This first hairstyle is called Savannah 1 (includes a color-changing Cowboy hat) is similar to Topeka 1, and Topeka 2 (they have braids). For a first hairstyle, this is very cute and far better than most firsts I’ve seen.
Reek also released this Saddle Stool in White and Natural Wood texture for 50L Friday this week, if you want a cute posing prop/decor item. This Saddle Stool includes 6 built-in animations, and my favorite is the Rodeo! animation, which has to be seen in-world to be truly appreciated. Go check it out!
