It’s difficult to celebrate Halloween in SL cos throughout the year, I feel like I have lots of opportunities to ‘dress up’ already! All those fabulous RP looks, and crazy cute costumes. If I were to dress up in SL, I would choose a kawaii costume.

The With Love Hunt is coming! It doesn’t start until the 30th, but I have to show you this cape! I know you guys don’t like teasing, but this gorgeous Chloe Cape from Diram is part of the hunt, and I felt inspired to wear it today. I normally don’t do hunts, but I think that for $10L, you can’t pass this up.

When I left my sim earlier today, I ran into Caduceus Lorakeet (twice). The first time, he snapped a picture of me and posted it to Flickr, and the second time, he showed it to me like a stalkerazzi (jk!). Normally, that would freak me out a bit, but he called me SL Royalty, and that made me happy. Also, I’m glad I was wearing shoes, instead of my usual “I’ll just tp around barefoot, nobody’s looking at me” look. I seem to have forgotten my shirt though, but at least from the backside… it looks decent! 😀

My inner Pink Princess is jumping for joy cos the new Love Soul ‘Hair 16’ in Blonde has a texture changeable bow with a Pink shade that matches the Surf Co ‘Havering Dress’ in Bubblegum perfectly!
I picked up the Havering dress last week during 50L Friday, and I’ve worn it a couple of times ever since. I like the off the shoulder cap sleeves, giving it a very casual and comfy look. The Havering Dress comes with a sculpted skirt or a flexi skirt; I usually wear the flexi one when I’m running around in-world but the sculpted is great for photos. I’m wearing the Havering Dress in Bubblegum and Mojito here, they’re so briiiight, and happy.
Surf Co also released the Belmar Skinny Jeans in a ton of different washes. At first I thought these were skinny jeans with ultra skinny sculpts, but they’re actually JUST textured jeans. I’m usually a snob about jeans without ‘sculpted cuffs’ but I love these, because they extend far beyond the ankles, since each pair of jeans are worn on the pants layer as well as socks layer (to give additional length). I love them, they’re very nicely done and looks great.
I’m pairing the jeans with the new Surf Co Rendezvous V-neck Tops (with print & plain) and Slouchy Thread Sweater (includes slouchy sculpted sleeves).
These items are great staples for your wardrobe and they include all layers for easy mixing-and-matching.

It’s Earth Day tomorrow! Wunderlich’s created this gorgeous Earth Dress. These pictures DO NOT do it justice!! All the prims have animated textures to show a serene Earth landscape. See the panels of my prim skirt? That’s a waterfall! This dress has to be seen in-world to be fully appreciated. Wunderlich’s has created a wonderful youtube video featuring the dress, click here to see it.
The sleeve of this dress also has a built-in ao that can be turned on or off, but I *totally* recommend wearing the dress with the AO on, because the AO poses are custom made for this dress and they’re just FANTASTIC. I may pull them out and use in my regular AO, too. I love cute hovers & fly animations!

The more I wear a mesh head, the more I identify with it. I find that the best way to feel at home in a mesh head is to commit to it, wear it often, and then customize it until you love it. I worry that I look “just like everyone else” in the mesh head, but so far, I haven’t seen anyone else styling it the way that I do! Take my poll and let me know how often you wear your mesh head!

Hello Second Life! Elle Couerblanc here, renoobed and restyled. I LOVE Halloween in SL! I love all the fun stuff people create, all the events and things to do. In RL, you go places and stores are already taking down Halloween stuff and making room for Christmas! Blech!

the problem for me (SL wise) is my avatar is ALWAYS changing look (varies from mean killer robot to cute girl next door style, yes i use a female avatar in SL) so for me its halloween everyday.
