Do you agree with this quote? I have something nice to say about this dress, but I also have something I dislike about it. Should I say nothing at all?

Though I do believe “If don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all..” I also believe that “Honest is the best Policy” and would think that the creators in SL would appreciate such feedback…
However as long as I’ve been following your blog I have also come to realize that whenever you do say something negative about some creations someone always has to say something to defend the person behind the creation and that sometimes can cause arguments on the post. Which “IN MY OPINION” is a bit uncalled for because well everyone has an opinion. Say if I didn’t like something I’d say what it is I didn’t like but be quick to mention that it is just my two cents and don’t want to dissuade someone from checking out a creator’s store.
I guess its just kinda a tricky road for bloggers. =/

You might want to start with that hair first, but yes the dress isn’t very good. No reason why you can’t say how you feel, other than the creators might be ignorant and block you from their stores. Some bloggers do that too though when you leave replies. It’s sad people can’t just take the criticism and move on. Try being in front of the public professional offline daily with all eyes on you tweeting good and bad, then it makes stuff like SL and bloggers look so very small in comparison. I say go for it!

I saw that dress from a distance at uber and was like “wtf, it looks like a scrubs top.”. It is definitely not up to their usual standard of releases and I do love Emery! Maybe the creators are overextending themselves? Lately some of the releases have been a bit lackluster.
(Obviously I don’t agree with the statement, LOL).
I’m with Sella, honesty is best. But, we should define honesty in opinion commenting.
I like chocolate over angle food cake. That is personal preference. Saying angle food cake sucks is not what I consider honest, not intellectual honesty. Saying ‘I’ don’t like it is honest.
