These new Elysium eyes from Buzzeri are nice, and I don’t say that about too many pairs of eyes in SL! What I like about these eyes are the depth of colors, size options, texture option, and mesh option. I also really like the reflection, it’s nothing recognizable, which I prefer more than a random person or object! I dislike the lash reflection, and the whites being too small, so the dark corners are more visible than what I would normally wear.
Despite a couple of dislikes, overall I like these eyes a lot, and the colors are very well done and beautiful. If I wasn’t super attached to my favorite brand of all time, Aphotic Gloom, I would happily switch to Buzzeri.
My friend Fay sent me the most beautiful gown from Sofia. It’s the Cher gown and sandals, exclusively available at The Arcade. With our fancy new gowns, we decided to twin and revisit the formal dance club for another twirl. But the second we got to the club, Fay changed her gown at the door, leaving me standing there in this elegant gown with a long chapel train, looking all glamorous by myself.
I wanted to see if my initial impression of the club was accurate, and it turns out, it was. To capture this quirky experience, I filmed it to practice working with crowded scenes and to show you why I find this club so bizarre. There’s a bunch of guys just standing around, silent and rarely asking anyone to dance. Maybe they’re bots? I have no clue what they’re waiting for. The people dancing mostly came with their partners. After awkwardly dancing alone with Fay for what felt like ages, I accepted a quick dance from someone and then left.
I really love the concept of a formal club; it’s such a great chance to practice filming different angles. But finding a dance partner who matches your height, aesthetics, will actually ask you to dance, and isn’t hitting on you the whole time seems like an impossible ask.
Dancing is a popular activity in Second Life, enjoyed by everyone, whether solo or with friends. I haven’t frequented clubs much before, but I’m thinking of starting! I’ll give them all a try. If you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments!
Hey guys! If you haven’t been to the Extend a Helping Hand charity event, you need to go there now! Some or all of the proceeds of items sold at this event will assist those affected by the Queensland Floods.
Khea Karas of Malt has this gorgeous Lorelei Vest in three colors (Just Green, Being Blue, and Pink Twist) on sale there, with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. I think it’s fantastic, and so super adorable!
The vest fully scupted and comes with an alpha layer to ‘hide’ some portion of your breasts, so people with size 50-60 breasts may not need to modify at all to fit. I am wearing the alpha layer & my boobs are reduced from size 60 to 55 here, it fits perfectly.
This vest is also scripted to resize, position, and make alpha (hide) portions of the vest, such as the tie, beads and shoulder frill. I have everything turned on, cos I like it just the way it is.
This beige Tartan trench coat from Aoharu is perfect for Autumn weather!! I like the length a lot because it’s sexy and short but also not too revealing so I can choose to wear this coat without long pants. I actually hate wearing pants, so give me a short cutesy flexi skirt any day.
Aoharu’s Leopard Pink Fur coat matches the Knit Boots in Baby Pink perfectly!! I love this Docomo hair from the hunt, it’s kind of short and messy. For some reason my av looks like she just woke up from a nap and is wandering around in a snow sim! :p
Both of the hairs worn in this entry are from the Docomo hair hunt. If you haven’t gone, it’s totally worth the effort! Each hair is scripted to change to 7 different colors! And it will take some effort to find the mushrooms, but luckily my friend Jenna walked me through it. Read more about the Docomo hair hunt at from Free*Style’s blog entry here.
Yay four new Truth hairstyles for your wearing pleasure! I’ve noticed that Truth has been using more of the ‘crimped’ hair texture and it’s kind of cool.
I am wearing Avery, Stella, Pamela and Lara all in Latte brown.
Hi, Gogo!
Would you mind listing where there hair you’re wearing in the above photo is from, please?
Thank you!
