Happy Saturday! I am at the Life in a Bowl sim, love the flowers here! My biggest gripe about pretty sims in SL is that most of them tend to disable everything – scripts, rezzing, etc! It doesn’t make fashion photography easy when all your HUDs stop working, but I managed! This is a good sim to explore with friends and take landscape photos.

ICING has just released three gorgeous dresses perfect to add to your wardrobe. I love the sculpted lilies on the Casablanca dress, and the off shoulder sleeves on Enchanted River. The Night on the Town dress has a great necklace and gorgeous tulle underskirt.

Ridgewood Enclave is out! I always want to be excited about a new Linden Home theme, but lately I’ve managed my FOMO a little better. I’m not getting one of these because nothing about them appeals to me. I prefer homes that are more cottagey and sweet looking, not modern boxes made of concrete. The palms are an interesting choice, and while the landscaping isn’t bad, it doesn’t win me over either.
Ridgewood Enclave is only available for Premium Plus members since each parcel is 2048 sqm with 936 land impact. Residents who like larger land and higher impact will probably enjoy them, and every home seems to come with a driveway. I’ve already spotted someone rezzing a helicopter on one of the very flat roofs. Honestly, rezzing obnoxious vehicles should be against the covenant, but we’ll see how that plays out.
Truth has just released 3 new hairstyles.. you're gonna love it! I'm wearing it with the newly released Beach skins from Gala Phoenix. This particular makeup is so soft, and reminds me of something a pin-up girl might wear, so I'm wearing an old favorite outfit from Katat0nik, the Thailor dress which has a cute little matching hat.

I decided to switch up my skin tone again and now I’m wearing the Velour Snow from Glam Affair. While I loved the Ivory shade, it ended up being too pale for the Sina skin, so I’m diving into a variety of Glam Affair’s faces and skin tones to find the perfect match. When I tried on this skin, I knew it would be perfect with some tattoo fixes from Izzie’s. I’ll recommend adding additional highlights on this skin with Izzie’s Highlighter Set, and because I’m fussy, I also added the Lower Lip Border Fix, Eye Fix, Nose Shading Fix, Nostril Lightener, Blush/Contour Remover too.
Shopping is one of my favorite pastimes, but a friend advised me to hold off until the Black Friday sales. It’s sound advice, especially since I often find myself with nothing left to buy from my favorite brands by then. It’s the tricky dilemma of being a loyal customer—you end up owning everything already! Plus, many Second Life brands don’t offer discounts on their new items during Black Friday. So, this year, I’m planning to curtail my shopping for a bit and see if there are any enticing deals when the sale arrives.
Even though I’m trying to limit my purchases, I can’t help but enjoy playing dress-up with new items. I went to Belle Epoque to get the free L$500 store credit, which allowed me to get a beautiful dress, and I even spent a little extra to get a second one! So I suppose I wouldn’t say I’m completely not shopping, but I’m definitely doing better at slowing down. Belle Epoque is such a generous brand, frequently hosting hunts and giveaways. I’m a big fan of their styles—they’re incredibly cute and so affordable.

I’m teasing you guys with Gala’s soon-to-be released Cupid skins, but I’m showing the body first because I’ve just realized today that I’m changing my skin tone preference for Gala skins. Usually I wear Petal [Dark] but since I’m into the nicer sunkissed glow, I’ve been wearing Sundust [Light] a lot. It’s my tone of choice now! Has that ever happened to anyone? I wore Petal forever, but I think either my Windlight settings changed, or my new monitor is different.

I think I like this skin just as much as I like Elf (maybe even a little bit more), the nose is adorable and the lips are adorable!!
