Leverocci is a new-to-me brand that recently caught my attention with the release of their latest mesh Pacaii Pumps. I went to their main store to check it out, and noticed that there’s already a small collection of shoes, hair, and clothing for sale, along with a section for Beauty (skins?) that has yet to be filled.
As you can see the display and presentation is nice, it even has an “Armidi” feel to it. I inspected a couple of the prims (display rack, lights) and some prims are made by former Armidi alts. At first I thought perhaps they could be Armidi alts, but after I demoed some products and looked around at the ads and display, I didn’t think this was the work of former Armidi designers cos it doesn’t have the same “look”. I asked Jin Elfan (Leverocci designer) why some prims in her shop belong to Armidi alts and why her land is on Barcola, and she said they’re just friends. I normally don’t believe it when people say this, but I believe her, cos the style just isn’t the same as Armidi style.
These mesh Paccai Pumps from Leverocci are pretty but I found them a lil’ difficult to fit. It took a bit of patience with re-sizing and moving the shoe around until the alpha was no longer visible. The HUD is easy to use, very intuitive but there’s an extra click to ‘to apply the tint’ that made the tinting process so much longer. Unlike other shoe HUDs that shows changes immediately when you click around the color picker, this HUD requires you to click “appy” before any change is made. The extra click is kind of a pain, but I managed to get a decent match 🙂
I purchased the Seam Detail Mini Dress (in Silver) from Leverocci to match the shoes, and I was kind of disappointed that it came with a prim crotch. The display rack showed a dress with flawless (no) seams, but when this dress is worn, the prim texture & the dress texture did not line up very well at all for me. It may work better on someone thinner or smaller (not sure).
I didn’t buy any hair, but I demo’d some and they looked alright. There wasn’t a nice a Platinum Blonde hair color, so I passed on it. Leverocci is a brand to watch, cos they’ve shown that they’re able to create a range of products and hopefully, it will get better with more releases. Right now I feel that their shoes may be their best product, the rest of the things (clothes, hair) are just alright, until they update their textures and work on incorporating more mesh sculpts into the clothing.

For what feels like over ten years, the Pink Fuel body has been my absolute go-to. Somehow I managed to pair it successfully with a variety of bodies and mesh heads. Lately, skin creators seem to focus more on designing just head skins and suggest we find body skins from other brands like Velour. But I’ve kept up, even matching the most recent head skins to my trusted Pink Fuel body.
However, the other day, I felt the urge to try something new for my body skin. What I discovered was fascinating; Second Life brands have outdone themselves. The array of tattoo layer enhancements is staggering. They range from the usual details like wrinkles and body shadows to the more unique ones, including pregnancy looks and scars.

Mamboo Chic is a new-to-me brand that has quite a large collection of skins. I haven’t done many skin reviews this year, and it’s been awhile since my last review (since August), so I thought I would share with you guys the newest skin from Mamboo Chic. This Shapira skin has a sweet lil’ face and comes with tattoo makeup and tattoo lipsticks. I love tattoo makeup, and I think every skin brand in SL should have ’em.
The Shapira skin is available in 5 skin tones, 8 lipstick (tattoos) and 15 make up (tattoos) layers. I have mixed-and-matched a couple of the tattoos to create different makeup looks above.
This skin has an attractive face & the options available are just enough to create many different looks. Of course there’s room for improvements, but from my interaction with this designer, I think she’s very willing to accept feedback and make improvements for future releases. I would love to see more brows (tattoos) offered with future releases, as well as some more upgrades on the body.

These 3 new Exile hairstyles are gorgeous!! Fae is has color-changing roses and also a “dew” version, you’ll have to wear it to know what I’m talking about 😛 Clara, my favorite, has a color-changing headband. All 3 hairstyles have bangs!! If you’re a bangs lover, definitely check these out.
My favorite is Clara! I love everything about it. The length, the bangs, the headband.. MMmm…

I love trying to piece together a complete outfit from a hunt. Belle Epoque always has the best hunts for about L$10 per item. I can’t recall if I’ve done the Summer Hunt or Birthday Hunt before, so I did it again. Belle Epoque revived two older hunts until June 15th, so you can get them too if you didn’t in the past. JesyLilo – LipGloss
I love tattoo makeup, but my favorite tattoos are lipstick and lipgloss. I can’t get enough of them, and I collect them from different brands so I have them in a bunch of different colors, and textures. These newest lip glosses JesyLilo are perfect for wearing over any skin, or pairing with another lipstick tattoos underneath to create an even more eye-popping look. Note that these lip glosses also includes blush on the same tattoo layer, and some people don’t like that but I love blush!
I’ve also been wearing these new Homicidal Lipstick tattoos from Pekka. This pack has 5 amazing lipstick colors that fits beautifully over my current favorite skin (Pink Fuel). My only gripe is, I wish it didn’t have this mark on it….
I’m not sure what that is, but I would love these lipsticks without that thing ^!
