Inspired by Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, my friend Caroline made Little Stars Hollow and it is gorgeous! Visit the sim if you’re a fan of the show, cos it really does look like it!
I actually got dressed in this cheerful outfit before going to the sim, and to my delight, the patisserie colors matches perfectly.
My outfit today is a mix-and-match from Teefy and Fishy Strawberry, paired with Strapped Pumps from League.
I’m so excited about this report, thank you JetPack and WordPress! This year’s report is even better than last year’s report! The numbers of hits fell from 1.1 million to 840,000 thousand, but reader interaction went up, cos you guys commented a lot more! The top 5 commenters are: Opal Rae, Anahata, Charlotte Caxton, Vianne, and Tracy Redangel.
Thank you so much for your support in 2012! Even though readers do not always agree with me, I have really enjoyed reading your comments, and will try to make this blog even better next year.

Hi everyone! I was super excited to try on this Nicki hairstyle from Truth. I like all of Nicki Minaj’s experiments with bright hair colors. This Nicki hairstyle comes with some special hair colors not usually part of Truth’s colors. You can wear the hair with fun prints or turn the prints off with a HUD.
Today, I’m channeling a different music artist. Can you guess who? When I saw this bright red hair color, I immediately thought of Britney Spears in the “Toxic” music video.
Also, don’t miss out on Anthology this month. My adorable dress is the Lucie dress from Jack Spoon. This dress is PBR, giving it a bit of a nice sheen. I did notice my aerola on one side was visible through the low-cut top, so I added nipple covers. Thankfully, my body skin from The Skinnery includes them.
And since Halloween is just around the corner, I went with a red and black theme today. I’m also baking some sweets in my friend’s sweet retro kitchen! My baking accessories are the Chromaluxe Bakeware set from Waffle, which you can also find at this month’s Anthology event.
Even though I seem to buy a new skin every week, I just couldn’t resist getting another one. This is the Cheryl skin from Amara Beauty, available at Access. I’ve added a lot of makeup tattoo fixes to this skin; if you want a step-by-step guide on that in a future blog post, let me know in the comments!
I’m now part of the advisory board for the Linden Endowment for the Arts! The Linden Endowment for the Arts is a user-run program that uses land donations from Linden Labs to foster nonprofit art exhibits and activities. You can read more about LEA here and learn how to apply for the next round of land grants.
My first interaction with LEA was through one of their projects, Art Farm Co-op. I spent the summer of that program’s duration learning and growing with other SL artists, and engaging in a thoughtful and friendly community. After Art Farm’s program ended, I hung around the LEA public sandbox, constantly checking out what other people were creating.
So now I’m on the advisory board! I’m excited to be here and I hope my insight will make LEA even better.
If you see me around the art sandbox, feel free to ask me to host an impromptu sandbox art tour with my SYZM taxi! I’m always up for that.
I absolutely love nature and serene landscapes in Second Life. My friend Sparkle Skye’s region, which neighbors mine, is a popular spot with enchanting flowering fields and a stunning waterfall. It’s the perfect place to lose yourself, explore the beauty of nature, and take amazing photos.
Recently, I tried on the Alida Outfit from Everfaery, and let me tell you, it’s super cute with tons of options! For just L$495, it’s a fantastic deal. However, I didn’t realize it was soooo short—it’s basically the length of a shirt. So, if you’re okay with your butt cheeks hanging out, go for it! Personally, that’s not really my thing, but I’ll still wear it.
Lately, I’ve been filming more short videos in Second Life, just to practice and capture fun moments. Don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel (JuicyBomb); I always upload videos there first!
