My two room cottage is so cute now!! I tried to find a place for most of my Arcade things, cos I didn’t want to hoard things that I have no use for, so if I don’t use it in my house, I will probably resell it. So far, I’ve found a place for a ton of stuff, but that also meant I had to remove a few things that were there before. I really love the Snow White set from OMEN, but I will trade someone a complete Alice set for it! So far, I just have the “Drink Me” bottle.
I went to the yard sales last night, they were insane but so fun! Soooo many people reselling things for $1000L-$1500L, especially the TB Suitcase rare! I wanted one, but not that much! If I was going to drop $1500L on a rare thing, I may as well play the machine myself, cos that’s about 30 plays! (1500/50 (average price) = 30). I did find two really cute TB decor for cheap, just $40L – the Bon Voyage Memo Board, and the Ready to Travel passport thing.

So you want a custom Bluesky name? If you have your own domain, setting it up is straightforward. I’m @gogo.juicybomb.com on Bluesky. I intended to write a tutorial, but fortunately, Bluesky already offers an excellent guide: How to verify your Bluesky account.
If you want to be known as @yourdomain.com, simply set up the TXT record at your hosting company or your domain registrar. If you have a domain name without a hosting plan, you should set up the TXT record with your domain name registrar. On the other hand, if you have a hosting plan associated with your domain name, you will configure the TXT record at your hosting company. If you want to be recognized as @anyword.yourdomain.com, create a subdomain and then add the TXT record on that subdomain. You can set up as many TXT records as you want to, even for different domains. They will all resolve to your account.
If you decide to obtain a custom name on Bluesky, be aware that as soon as you acquire your new name, you will have released your old name for anyone else to claim. For instance, I was initially @juicybomb.bsky.social. Once I changed to @gogo.juicybomb.com, I recreated juicybomb to ensure that no one else could use it. This gives me the flexibility to revert to it in the future, should I choose to discontinue using my domain. To revert, simply delete the username you are holding and rename your current account.
I have observed many Second Life residents using @name.secondlife.bio on Bluesky. However, I must caution you against this choice. This domain is not officially owned by Second Life or Linden Lab; rather, it is owned by a resident. While it is commendable that they are offering this service, if their domain is not renewed, you will lose your username. It will cease to resolve, prompting Bluesky to ask you to create a new one (although you will not lose your posts or account—only your username will change). Beyond the risk of losing your username, I also have concerns regarding impersonation. Since these accounts are not verified, anyone could request @yourname.secondlife.bio.
I am genuinely curious when Second Life will address the use of the domain name by SecondLife.bio, as it clearly violates their Domain Name Guidelines.
Unexpected updates are the best! LeLutka will release 4 new bento mesh heads on August 8th, and updating all current bento mesh heads to version 3.0. What’s in v3 you ask? The HUD is slightly different, and now there is a Moods tab that includes 12 default moods with the option to turn the head bone movement on/off.

I’m wearing Chloe in this post, cos I haven’t quite narrowed down which head I will wear next. Bento mesh heads have been out for a while, so I feel that there’s enough variety in heads/skins to make us unique looking. Do you still think that “everyone looks the same” in mesh heads or can we be unique now?

The new Aegyo skin from Mozz is so pretty! This skin is youthful, and offers plenty of options for a mere $850L per fatpack. I am surprised to see that all of the base skins have no eyebrows, but you can wear the brows as an add-on tattoo layer (3 choices are included).
There are 9 makeups and 9 lip colors in every pack, plus a teeth tattoo layer.

I think the Mozz teeth tattoo is pretty nice, and will work on other SL skins too.
When SL teeth first arrived, they looked like beaver teeth, so a lot of people shied away from them, but these latest release from some of my favorite SL skin makers are definitely more sexy. Although they definitely look great from the front, I still think that texture teeth is ‘horsey’ from the side, unfortunately. 🙁
