The December round of The Arcade opens in one day! I’ve always loved hairstyles with attachments, especially winter hairstyles with hats and earmuffs. Exile made two adorable hairstyles called First Frost and Snow Fall, both includes a color-changing HUD.

So today I was finally able to go visit the Le Look sim, which I heard was suppose to be this posh new place to rent/have a shop/go shopping, etc!! When I got there the lag nearly killed me, and I was spammed with a ton of stuff! *hits IGNORE ALL immediately* But I heard that vendors there had to create 'Le Look exclusive items' so I braved the lag and found some amazingly cute stuff!
First up.. the ISSIGONIS 'FeiYan' skins! Miula Jun does wonderful work on the face and the body (check out the boobs, trust me). These skins are currently not available at the main store, I didn't see it there, so you'll have to find them at the Le Look sim for now.
Shown aboe is ISSIGONIS 'FeiYan' in medium skin tone. There are 4 makeups, each includes 2 diferrent brows (light/dark) and two different lip colors (nude/red).

I found the cutest nautical earrings at NoLabel to go with my UntoneQuit 'Charcoal sweatdress', an oldie but a favorite! I totally forgot I had this until I saw the nautical earrings today.
Do you know what a 21 year old looks like? Sometimes an avatar created by a younger user is told they look too young, according to those who are older.
This group of people disagreed on the issue, due to generational differences of their perception of a woman in that age group. True, the thread had factors such as the sim owner being able to impose whatever rule they wanted on their land and who was allowed there. This, however, is not about the sim owner’s prerogative. It’s about how users in Second Life consider young adults and what they think they actually look like.
I think many times in Second Life, we disagree about what a young adult appears as. We all grew up during different decades, and our heyday has given us an implied bias. For me, the picture above is what I think someone who’s 21 can look like. She’s following an e-girl trend (though not all do), and is willing to try a lot of different wild trends because she’s got the money and freedom to do so. I, however, am a Millenial. Maybe you think differently about this than I do.

I saw many people decorating this lovely skybox and didn’t really know what to do with mine until I remembered that I needed to set up a new Baby’s room. Since I moved to my homestead, I had to sacrifice a couple of homes, so I didn’t have any space in my existing beach house for a baby’s room at all. This skybox is fabulous, and is just the perfect size for all of my Zooby Baby’s furniture.
I paid a visit to Zoobyville recently and purchased my baby a new bathing suit! While I was there, I noticed a fabulous new line of Maternity wear, which I will feature in a separate entry soon.
Zooby Baby lovers will be happy to know that I have info from creator Carrie Tatsu that a newborn will be released very soon. How exciting!!!!! My baby is totally getting a new sister 😛
In the mean time, please enjoy some fabulous baby pictures. My friends are split into two groups, some of you adore the babies and have one yourself, and some of you think I’m weird. But you know what? You cannot deny their cuteness!!

A couple of days ago, I saw Grazia blog this gorgeous Alchemy Immortalis necklace and I made a mental note to visit the shop to get myself one. For a new brand, I was surprised to find a fantastic sim build and already tons of products for sale. The Alchemy Immortalis brand is by Alchemy Cyannis and Immortalis Cyannis, and their stuff reminded me what Baron Grayson and Sue Stonebender might have done. Since Baron an Sue are leaving SL, I thought that these could be their new alts, so of course I had to ask if they were, but Alchemy said they’re not alts, just “rl friends”.
I bought the gorgeous Ami amet deli pencet French Brooch Necklace and matching Ami amet deli pencet Renaissance Bracelet, both are scripted to change metals and gemstones. The details & textures are fantastic, they’re SO good at what they do!

Hi from the edge of my houseboat on Bellisseria! I never wanted a houseboat until two weeks ago, when I visited a friend’s houseboat. The view outside of the windows reflected gorgeous endless ocean. I fell in love instantly, and prayed to the Linden gods for a houseboat. Prayer answered.
I’m still getting the hang of decorating a houseboat, so it’ll be partially empty for awhile. I wanted a waterfront location to test how the light and sky reflects in the water, cos I’m making some custom EEP settings for personal use in the EEP viewer. Apparently EEP will go live very soon, so I recommend familiarizing yourself with it now!
