Good morning from Evermore House on Aurelias! Why haven’t I ever been to this house before? It’s so eerie and beautiful, and sits all by itself on this deserted corner of the island. When I asked Sparkle about the reason the previous owners moved out of the house, she said that she had no idea either. I promise that as soon as I learn the real story behind what took place at Evermore House, I will post an update!
You’re cordially invited to the Evemores— forever more. The Evermore House was once home to the most notable family on Aurelias. The first Evermores arrived in the 17th century and established themselves on the island. John Evermore, his wife, and their daughter are the last known members of the Evermore family to have lived there. The house has been deserted for a very long time, and it now sits all by itself, patiently awaiting its next guests.
Hello from my Linden Home! By April of this year, it will have been 4 years since I claimed my first Linden Home. Time goes by quickly! I’ve been thinking a lot about my Linden Homes, including how much I’m spending on my region. I won’t say how many Linden Homes I had at my peak, but I have four of them now. I’ve given up homes in the same theme in the past month and decided to just keep one with any theme I like. I’m still trying to leave even more, and unless the next theme interests me, I’ll probably end up with just three homes. Like everyone else, I’m still waiting for those 2048 Linden Homes.
Since the Concierge Linden Home service for Premium Plus came out, people have asked me to leave my homes so they can ticket for it. Sorry, but that’s not how it works. Abandoned homes go into a queue for anybody to get from the Land Page on the Second Life website. I’ve always thought the ticketing process was highly inefficient and there has to be a more instant solution. Even if I wanted to abandon a house for someone to use their Premium Plus to claim, they can’t without risking the house being taken by other residents.
I’ve been meaning to blog these adorable Luck Inc. Bodysuit with Suspenders for a few weeks now. The bodysuit comes with TONS of options, you can wear it with nipples showing or with nipples covered — or with suspenders only, etc.
I’m pairing my bodysuit with two new releases from Gos, a new-to-me brand in SL. I’m wearing the Gos ‘Butterfly Sunglasses’ and Gos ‘DOCS boots’ in Black. This new store has unisex items, so guys, do check it out!
What I’m Wearing:
&Bean – Pillow Light one SB NFR
Truth – Saskia (Swedish)
Luck Inc – Bodysuit with Suspenders
Gos – Butterfly Sunglasses
Gos – Docs Boots / Black
Crush On You is opened! cheLLe has 3 new makeup packs available just at this event location from February 10th – February 18th! There’s lots of Valentine’s Day themed goodies on sale and some freebies for too!
The latest round of the Anthology event has just opened, brimming with summery delights! There are so many tempting accessories and makeups this time around. I couldn’t resist dashing straight for the Asuna Sunglasses from BONDI and the Tifa Sandals from C’est La Vie. Make sure to check out the shopping guide on Seraphim.
For today’s look, I’ve paired my Anthology treasures with the stylish Sonya Sweater & Top from Tetra. Tetra always delivers immaculate creations, so I typically don’t scrutinize the mesh quality. However, this time I noticed a few issues—the back of the sweater wasn’t rigged quite right, with some odd breaks around the back and arms in standard poses. This is a good reminder that, no matter how much you trust a brand, it’s always wise to demo and inspect an item from every angle.
All the photos in this post were taken using a PBR viewer with minimal editing. I simply cropped the images and added a subtle blur to the background. With the current conversation around overly processed SL photos, fueled by AI enhancements, I prefer to keep my editing minimal. Due to time constraints, I spend only a minute or two on each photo, primarily focusing on cropping and saving the file.
It drives me nuts when people blog discontinued items, mainly because *I* can’t get them myself 😛 For the past two years that I have been shopping in SL, I’ve seen a lot of designers close their store or discontinue items so it’s inevitable that I’m guilty of the same thing. Thankfully, for every outfit that has been discontinued, there are several more similar ones that are available to take its place!
The Dazzle outfit has been discontinued, but I found two more outfits with the same type of skirt and look that could easily be substituted to achieve the same look.
Awesome Designs has recently released the Miranda outfit, which includes a long dress top with lacy prim cuffs, a tube top overlay in several colors per pack, and a white lace skirt with a matching color sash (for the tube top). I was totally thrilled when I saw this released because now I can recommend something to people that are searching for an outfit that looks like the Dazzle Innocence, and.. the Miranda outfit is affordable and comes with a ton of colors!
Another one that’s similar but different because the lace on the skirt is black, is the PixelDolls Sunrise outfit. I love PixelDolls because Nephilaine Protagonist is a generous designer and produces tons of stuff at an affordable price. This outfit was $150L, and I chose this color because I don’t have too many orange outfits in my inventory, but there are tons of other colors as well.
For every outfit that has been discontinued, somewhere on the grid exists another similar outfit! So go hunt down whatever item you’re looking for 😛
