Meet Lulu, the newest mesh head from LAQ. On my last review of Gaia, the first bento mesh head from LAQ, I did not mention my thoughts on the shape tweaking process for the head cos it was still in the beta stage. The sliders are on Lulu are improved, so editing it is a breeze compared to Gaia. Some people said that the eyes looked sad on my shape, but I have yet to figure out how to fix that. I don’t even mind the sad eyes, it gives Lulu a sweet appearance. If you’re a fan of cute youthful faces, check out Lulu!
I am wearing the default skin included with the HUD, and the Fresh Lip Tint gloss from Pink Fuel.
The Velvet hairstyle from Truth is so cute, and the roots texture really works beautifully to enhance the side buns! This hair also comes with two hair bows scripted to color change, but I’m wearing it with the bows turned off.
I love the Wing Ding earrings from undefined lilies, I’ve been wearing it for four days! These earrings are adorable and comes in Gold or Silver with clean (no gemstones), or Green, Pink, and Red gemstones.
What I’m Wearing:
Truth – Velvet w/Roots (Champagne)
Pink Outfitters – Poppy Sheer Chiffon Blouse (White)
Mon Tissu – Stitched Thermal White)
G-Field – Flower Pumps “Eve”
Donna Flora – Misty Platinum Ring
LG Femme – Ulyana Belt (Pompei)
I’ll admit to being a snob about template clothing in SL, but I absolutely love this Romance Tunic Dress from Toxic. Sometimes, template clothing can cuter than an original creation, and more inexpensive! I paired the Mint colored dress with the new Collide hairstyle from Exile (available at faMESHed).
How do you like the interior? Since it’s October, I decorated it like a mini-coven area, complete with these cauldrons I picked up from A.D.D. Andel at We <3 Roleplay. I LOVE these! You can change the color of the liquid so it suits whatever you’re doing. It also comes with various options, like cauldrons with steam/without steam, with/without a stirring stick, etc.
Is it just me, or does everyone think that if we all set out to make a video game and put it on Steam, it would be utterly kickass and feature a ton of female game content creators? We have a lot of women in Second Life who create amazing mesh products every day. Outside of here, the amount of female game creators isn’t so high. If we held a game jam in SL, how awesome would it be to see programmers and artists coming together to make a game? Then you can put the game on Steam or Itch.io and make some money!
Shoutout to one of my friends who hates spiders. Look at my glasses! Hehehe. <3

The only thing on my calendar this weekend is the Spoonful of Sugar Festival. This event raises money for MSF/Doctors Without Borders, and I always admire the designers who donate their time to causes in Second Life, especially the smaller or lesser-known charities. Every year I look forward to SOS because some of my favorite creators are part of it.
This year it feels like a lot of people might be skipping the festival. The Seraphim mention didn’t include a gallery, and even SOS’s own website doesn’t have one. That made shopping a little tricky, but I went straight to the brands I love such as Izzie’s and Alaskametro and found some great things. There’s even a gacha area if that’s your thing.
Pro tip: Keep an eye out for a bowl of sugar if you want to grab some L$20 bargains from participating brands.
Izzie’s – Age Yourself (BoM Layers) – Left: Bare skin | Right: With face wrinkles added
One of the highlights for me was Izzie’s new Age Yourself set. Wrinkles and aging looks seem to be getting more popular in Second Life, and honestly, she’s scary good at transforming skins. The set comes in 50%, 70%, and 100% opacity layers so you can blend the wrinkles with your current skin.
I also picked up the new Soft Brows from Alaskametro. I never use the brows that come with a skin, so I’m always hunting for new ones. These are the perfect thickness, and they looked great when I tried them on. The only thing I wish is that they came with a HUD so I could play around with the opacity. I like layering BoM brows under LeLutka HD brows. On the left you can see the light colored brows, and on the right the tinted ones. You lose a bit of detail when tinting, but it’s fabulous that the option is included so you can get the exact shade you want.
Check out the SOS Festival, show your favorite brands some love, and support a good cause while you shop.
Feeling festive? Check out skream! Xmas Speshul package which includes the Antlers (with particles!) Xmas Tree Star (mouth attachment) and Rudolph’s Red nose (not worn).
I’m wearing it with SLink’s Naughty-N-Nice Dress and SLink’s Sydney Overknee Boots (Xmas version).
I’ve been waiting so patiently all week for the new Nellie skin from Laqroki. This skin is even more beautiful than the teaser image posted on Mallory’s Flickr. I thought I would wear the skin as a Brunette or Blonde, but when I tried on this luscious red (Fall) shade from Exile, I had to wear it for my review post.
This skin has 10 makeups and hair base. I’m wearing the Nellie in Fair tone:
I wore Laqroki brows tattoo on my previous Laqroki skins reviews, but I am just wearing the skin here. I love the brows on these, they’re well-balanced and perfect for this face.
Here’s a larger view of the face! I never edit my skin pics, so everything you see here are snapshots taken straight from SL.
