MudHoney blows me away with this newly released Winter Livingroom set. This set is so calming on the eyes, the colors warm and inviting. The Winter Livingroom set includes everything you see in the picture above (all the furniture, accessories & light fixtures).
I’ve always really liked that MudHoney items are sold as 1 softlinked item you can drag from your Inventory -> to your home (or you can unbox the package if you prefer to arrange yourself). I love furniture but I really don’t like having to place them sometimes, especially if they have a lot of accessories that needs to be placed just right.

Scale is important. I like furniture that feels a bit ‘over-sized’ because it works better when you want to rez your own pose cushions. I like the scale of the sofas & chairs, they’re just right for my preference. All MudHoney items are Modifiable though, so you can easily re-size or re-texture anything to your liking.
Aloha! Everyone is going nuts for the Tee*fy items at The Arcade. I just love these colorful small appliances and darling food displays, that I’ve decided I need to set up a home to display them! I’m still looking for the perfect small beach house, cos I don’t want to use my old one anymore.

Inex Hax of Peqe released this gorgeous Pisces Jumpsuit for Zodiac. She has only been creating mesh for a short time (less than 2 months), and has already progressed so much! I love the cleavage on this jumpsuit, but I covered a lil’ bit by wearing the A Lil’ Foxy wrap. I went for a more vintage style, but this jumpsuit can be styled lots of ways.

I tried out Firestorm Zero so you don’t have to! Unfortunately, you can’t anyway, because Linden Lab sold streaming hours for only half a day before pulling the plug on it. So now they’re just not available. If you purchased some hours, you can still use those, but who knows when they will be back for sale. I reluctantly bought some hours just in case I wanted the option available in the future, and I wanted to try it out and compare it to Second Life Zero.
For those who may not know, Zero is the web browser version to access Second Life. The free version can be accessed through zero.secondlife.com, while the paid version can be found at zero.secondlife.com/fs (a lite version of the Firestorm viewer). I noticed right away that some of the latest Firestorm features were missing, but it is an acceptable version if you need to log in and explore.
I burned 30 minutes of my 20 streaming hours to make this video! I logged in with the goal of taking a photo, adjusting EEP settings, and experimenting with camera smoothing for video purposes. However, I struggled to turn off the UI, as the browser viewer did not respond to the keyboard shortcuts.Update! I found out how to turn off the UI. You can go through the menu and turn it off, or press Alt+Shift+U on your keyboard. But after I turned it off, I could not turn it back on, so I logged off.
Since we cannot save photos to a local drive on the browser viewer, I attempted to email a photo to myself. At high resolutions, it did not work. Finally, I selected the 1024 size photo, and it indicated that it was successful, but I did not receive the photo in my email. The browser experience also seemed quite pixelated to me, which gave me a headache towards the end.
Overall, Zero (and ZeroFS) is acceptable, but logging onto both versions remains a struggle. Linden Lab needs to address these issues if they are serious about offering browser streaming as a way to access Second Life.
