Hello, hello! I’m wearing the new Soleil hair from Exile, it’s absolutely beautiful and available at Equal10 event. My friend sent a pair of the Half-Deer Princess Twinklefluff (Bunny Ears) to complete my look. I love hair accessories of all types, even if I don’t wear many other accessories.
Look at these Dreamy Eyes from Avi-Glam! I knew I needed the pastel rainbow ones, as soon as I saw them.
I played around with the Lelutka Axis Face HUD today to make a slight smirk; I wish I could export this setting and share it with you guys! It would inspire me to make a bunch of different faces, if I could share it.
I am inspired by Daniel Voyager’s blog post listing his top 10 blog posts and search terms, so I am posting stats for JuicyBomb. WordPress has built-in site stats, so this information is gathered from the stats page of my dashboard.
I’m not surprised to see that there’s a good mix of informative & useful posts and some drama posts that have made it to the top 10! It’s encouraging to see that the top post is the Newbie Style Challenge, which was a really fun challenge. And… you guys love my Windlight tutorial! I promise to upload them some day, I have dozens and dozens that I’ve made for different skins photography indoors and outdoors. I’m inspired by the best, Torley Linden, who has hundreds of Windlight settings available for download!
Here are my top 10 posts of 2010 and top 10 search terms
I know it’s still November, but I’m already in the mood for winter lights and Christmas festivities in Second Life. There are several things I look forward to during this time of the year, including Black Friday sales, the LeLutka Christmas tree gift, and clothing options that go beyond dresses that barely cover one’s bum. I need to find a way to wear this Everfaery Frostlight Jacket year-round, as it comes with so many color options and optional string lights. Everything is better wrapped in string lights.
To distract myself from the issues with the Second Life mobile app, I decided to visit Winter Love Valley and enjoy some snow. This region is simple yet truly exceptional for photography! I was especially impressed with the chairs by What Next; the poses are all great and appear very natural. I immediately messaged Sparkle to ask if we had those chairs in our region, and she confirmed that we do.
In all the years that I’ve blogged about Second Life, I have never felt appreciated by Linden Lab. Therefore, when I read about the secret invitation-only blogger’s Zoom meeting, I was not surprised at all to not receive an invitation. A few other bloggers expressed similar sentiments, as feeling excluded is regrettably nothing new here. Second Life gains a significant amount of free press from its residents; we take millions of photos and create videos daily to promote the platform. Second Life bloggers are essential to the platform’s success; without us shopping, buying regions, and showcasing our experiences online, brands would not be able to thrive here.
If you read the blog post I linked, you will see that in Brett Linden’s email, he mentions plans for even more secret meetings with selected creators. If you are a creator, consider how you can get on that list, as your competitors may receive invitations and obtain information that could significantly impact your livelihood before you do.
There’s more I want to express about how Linden Lab has handled these matters, but I am not particularly impressed with recent developments, and I worry about Second Life’s future. With tickets going unanswered and numerous hacking incidents reported on the platform, I question whether we are safe. Is Second Life in trouble?
Please share your thoughts in the comments! Do you believe Second Life is better than ever, or do you think it could improve?
I’ve been swamped with setting up Juicy Shoes for Shoe Fair, which opens this weekend, but I’m still trying to keep up my daily fashion posts, so here you go! New Truth hair!! These three hairstyles are super adorable, especially Tatiana and Frankie!
A few days ago, my friend messaged me asking what I was up to. My response? “Fixing my nostrils.” She replied, “I’ve never looked that closely at my face.” I can’t imagine not doing so! I constantly scrutinize my face, and I’ve yet to find the perfect skin in Second Life. The ability to layer up to 60 items simultaneously has truly transformed my virtual beauty routine.
For several years now, I rarely wear a base skin without adding some modifications. I owe much of this to Izzie’s, a brand that seems to fix every flaw in any skin. I humorously call Izzie Button “Dr. Izzie” because whenever my skin needs a tweak, I turn to her creations. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the Nostril Changer BoM layer. While I wasn’t particularly displeased with my original nostrils, the upgrade has made a noticeable improvement. Sometimes, designers add excess shading, which can appear too dark for my taste, but this nostril set keeps it subtle.
The Nostril Changer offers various styles, primarily differing in shading size, but my favorite feature is the optional highlight. It makes such a difference! I’ve also been adding more shine to my face using Izzie’s Highlighter Set. I dislike skins with baked-in shine but love those that include a tattoo gloss or shine layer. Glam Affair used to include this in their skins, though they seem to have stopped for some reason. With the release of PBR lighting, I think the demand for face highlights and gloss will rise, as it provides a nicer glow that matches the environment. When applied subtly, it’s fantastic; too much shine, though, can make you look like you’re wrapped in plastic.
What is UBER? It’s a new monthly event in SL, with a different theme each month. This month’s theme is: Vacation. Most designers in SL interpret that as a beach vacation, and I couldn’t have been happier. I am loyal to the easy, breezy, beachy lifestyle in SL!

I can’t remember the last time I logged on my boy av — it was maybe over a year and a half ago? Yea, he’s pretty old 😛
I have been getting lots of feedback from my guy friends, so this is Boy av version 20!!!! Thanks you guys for making me feel TINY. I passed my shape to Davo, and he said it was too small, it made him feel like a teenage boy. So I promised I would beef my av up. When Fricker let me try on his shape, I realized that my boy av was definitely not the “average Sl male” desired size.
Sooooo this is Boy Gogo version 20 (hi, I tweak a lot!).
Also a big huge thanks to Bronson Twine, for keeping a man blog. I was able to go shop pretty quickly for boy things. I found a lot of cheap stuff at Ronsem and a great tank top at T.Whore.
P.S. Did I mention how much I love SACRED SKINS? LOVE LOVE LOVE!
