Every single time a hair store runs a 50% sale, they launch new textures shortly after the sale. I was pleasantly surprised by the new Magika hair textures – so realistic! I’m a fan of hair stores including all of the colors in one single hud, for one price, and not even the usual “fatpack” prices that clothing brands charge, but just a few hundred lindens ($370L at Magika).
Another reason Magika is GREAT is that all of the hairstyles are on Marketplace, even the new ones! Thank you, Magika! Make it easy to take my money.
Can you tell I’m wearing two different skins right now? I’m such a fan of my Pink Fuel (peach) body skin, that I tried to match it with my Lara Hurley (midtone), and it worked! Your layers must be in the correct order for it to look seamless and not change the colors of things you don’t want to change.
Here’s how I layered my skin & makeup:

The cheLLe powderpuff layer sits above my skin, cos I only want to change the face without changing the body tone. If I were trying to change my entire body (head & skin), I would layer the powderpuff above my body skin too. I don’t layer color-correctors over my makeups (blush, liner, lipsticks, etc… cos I don’t want those colors to be washed out.

Hey, Question – are you actually using the Lara Hurley eyebrows too? They don’t seem to look as nice in the demo but maybe there’s more options if I purchase the skin. It’s pretty difficult to find nice brows like the ones that appear to be in the pics. I always am looking but they are either too thick or the hairs are combed straight up and down .
Yes, I am using the entire Lara Hurley face. You need to adjust your brows in “brows/hair base” layer.
