Hello from the Glitch Motel! Fans of the Bates Motel movie/tv series will instantly recognize this iconic hotel-inspired sim. I know you can’t see the hotel in my photos, but I promise it’s amazing, come check it out!

These new Gala Phoenix Battle Royale skins are so interesting I have to show you them in larger than normal sizes. There are 6 makeups total, with 2 versions each and a light and dark skin tone option. These skins also have a version called Battle Royale Defeated, which features the same makeups on a more banged up and bloody body. Scroll down to see all the makeups available & pics of the body 🙂 I squealed a little when I tried on each one.. they get bloody!
Normally I steer clear of specialty skins like this, but I have a feeling that these will be very popular. It's still pretty, but dirty and totally bad ass!

You guys know I love skins, but when I try one on and it’s full of seams or the nose is pixelated, it is the biggest let down! I tried on the much anticipated Stephanie skins from Exodi, and I noticed right away that the nose had pixelation on the nostrils, which was extremely distracting.
Usually I can overlook minor flaws if the face is “hot”, but the nose turned me off, and so did the random seams all over the body. It just seems sloppy to me to release skins with this many flaws, especially since Exodi is not a ‘new’ brand.
When I try on skin demos, I teleport to my skybox and strip down! I look ALL over. I look for seams, I check out the teeth, and the ‘gina! Do you guys normally look at these areas of the skins?
Take a deep breath. Bakes on Mesh arrived on the grid 6 months ago, so you’ve either had a chance to play around with it or you’ve completely ignored it – until now. Go back and read the Bakes on Mesh tutorial part I, by Aemeth and part II by me. Then ignore everything you’ve learned because LeLutka is doing it differently than the existing workaround.
LeLutka just released two new mesh heads, Erin and Nova, featuring a brand new HUD with tons of cool new customization features and new high-definition applier layers, so most of your existing appliers will not work. I don’t really want to get into all of the changes, but from my brief glance at the heads, I foresee massive confusion on the grid.

I’m HORRIBLE at following Photoshop tutorials, cos I usually get lost when I can’t find a tool or understand how to use that tool (which is often the case).
I followed one of Katey Coppola’s new tutorial videos on Youtube and made the pretty glowy background for the image above. I got lost at 0:30 cos I couldn’t find the brush, and I have no idea what it’s called (I blame her British accent! LOL JK).
Katey’s tutorials are very helpful, even a newb like me managed to get through most of the steps! If you’re bored and want to learn something new, check them out.
I’m going for a classier look today, with this gorgeous short Atelier Panel dress from Belgravia. The belt is attached to the dress, and gives an impossibly tiny waist. I love this gorgeous Blue Olympian color, it’s great with dark Brown hair.
