Hello from Midnight in Paris! I’ve always loved France-inspired regions in SL, especially the historical Versailles ones. I also love vibrant and lively cities, and Midnight in Paris nailed it with so much detail. It’s spectacular, check it out.

Way back in the day, when the platform was new and some of you reading this weren’t born yet, Second Life residents could purchase a Lifetime account for $159.95 (later raised to $225) that offered them 4096 sqm of free land tier along with a generous L$500 weekly stipend.
Ever since I became a Premium member in 2019 to get a Linden Home, I’ve been asking Second Life to bring back Lifetime accounts. Well, it looks like my pleas have finally been heard because Patch Linden referred to it during the SL20B Opening Ceremony! We don’t have all of the details yet, but based on Patch’s speech and the SL20B Global Sweepstakes Grand Prize being a SecondLifetime Premium Subscription, this is a clear signal that Second Life is bringing back an updated version of the Lifetime account and calling it SecondLifetime Premium.
Here’s the live stream where Patch refers to Lifetime accounts:
“…with our premium perks, we need to bottle Second Life sunshine and sell it as an anti-aging serum… hmm… lifetime… lifetime… premium… lifetime… those words just seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly. I think I’m having an idea, perhaps something to discuss further at my Lab Gab session with Strawberry Linden, starting Monday, June 26th at 1:30 p.m. SLT.”
Are you ready????? Autumn weather IS here!! It's been raining like crazy where I live, and even flooding in some parts. I wish I had one of these Kookie Ono sweaters IRL, it's perfect and cozy. The Ono sweater also includes the hair (it's attached to the hoodie).
I'm pairing the Kookie Ono sweater with a pair of Djinn & Tonic Tweedheart pants in Navy. These two pieces were made for each other, they go SO well together. The Navy color even matches <3
The Djinn & Tonic Tweedheart pants comes in 6 yummy Autumn shades:
Be a cutie with this new BOOM 15-Love tennis dress! The tiara totally belongs here, cos you don’t sweat or mess up your hair in Second Life sports 🙂
I’ve tinted a few hair strands pink cos I think it works beautifully here. One of the perks of wearing light platinum hair is being able to tint it any color you want.
Welcome to the cutest cabin in SL! I feel terrible for you guys who didn’t get a chance to join the Djinn & Tonic subscribo, because yesterday’s group gift is so darn cute! I wanted to blog it yesterday, but I ended up obsessing over the House & Garden hunt, and then… didn’t really do much else. It was Sunday!
Luckily, this fully furnished Count the Hours home is available for purchase at the .44 Caliber Mainstore. I think the brand is Djinn & Tonic [Home] and it is Babyhoney Bailey’s newest addition to her current brand, Djinn & Tonic. I get confused easily when one person has too many brands, but I think they all belong to Bho, so if you can’t locate it (I couldn’t, but then again, I get lost easily), just send Bho a message.
The cabin may be small in size, but it packed with decor and cozy places to sit. The prim count is 225, but you can always add/remove things. Everything is copy/mod.
My favorite pose built into the loft area. This is a great pose for when I’m zoning out in SL!
I’m a picture whore sooooooo….. here’s one last picture!
Aranel Ah (of BOOM) sent me a Shark Week t-shirt. She’s a t-shirt making machine. Isn’t it adorable? And timely. Rawrrrrrrrrrr, go shopping!
Hello and welcome to my blog! Long-time readers already know that blogging is my passion, and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Over the past 17 years, my interests have varied and evolved, but everything you see on JuicyBomb is a true reflection of me. I’m thrilled to join the Got Blog! Bloggers Challenge. Through this challenge, I hope to share my thoughts on blogging and offer readers a deeper understanding of the Second Life blogging community.
When did you start your Second Life Blog?
I started my Second Life blog in 2007. My blog is nearly as old as my avatar!
Why did you start Blogging in Second Life?
My first Second Life blog was on a free platform, and it wasn’t a fashion blog. I just wanted a place to document my adventures in Second Life, so it was just candid photos and brief captions. Eventually, I decided to make a proper blog, so I bought a domain and started a blog called Gogolita. The name Gogolita was a combination of my avatar name (Gorgeous) and my favorite fashion style at the time (Lolita fashion). A year later, I bought a region and named it Juicy, so I rebranded to JuicyBomb.
Do you feel the Blogging community in Second Life has changed since you started Blogging, and if so, in what ways?
Back in the day, I felt that (fashion) bloggers wrote to share a genuine love for items they discovered and to connect with other residents on the grid. I used to know most of the bloggers in Second Life—not personally, but through their writings and being in the same groups and attending bloggers-only events. Designers were really nice to bloggers in general; they tried to be our friends, hoping we’d promote their stores. Now, some designers act like we’re their employees, setting requirements to be part of their blog teams. Even the bloggers appear to be more focused on meeting deadlines and promoting products rather than sharing things they genuinely love.
Do you think that Bloggers have a positive impact on Second Life culture and community, and if so, do you have any stories about that?
Where would Second Life be without bloggers? I feel that all bloggers have contributed to Second Life and filled the information gap when Linden Lab fell short. Additionally, our love for shopping and sharing that love on our blogs has positively impacted e-commerce here. Imagine Second Life without bloggers! It might have shuttered long ago.
Are you approachable as a Blogger by content creators that may have interest in you as a Blogger for their Brand/Store? – if you have review policies etc. feel free to include them.
Absolutely! If brands want to collaborate with me, please reach out to me in Second Life – Gorgeous Aurelia. I’ll blog about women’s fashion, home and decor, and landscaping items. I will also explore your region or promote a project that I find interesting. I blog about all sorts of things, so if you think it’s something I might want to highlight on JuicyBomb, let’s talk!
12 Days of Christmas is here! The biggest Christmas tradition in Second Life is the free mesh head from LeLutka! It surpasses every event on the grid that I can think of, and residents look forward to this. I can’t imagine if LeLutka doesn’t give a gift head one year, would Christmas get canceled?
I went to all of the participating skin stores and picked out 4 skins that are very pretty and fit well with the free Noel head. Most of these are for EvoX and work with light Velour skin tones. I was going to blend these head skins into my usual Pink Fuel body skins, but then I found out that I already have the Velour BoM body skins as part of the Maitreya LaraX update. I wish skin brands would start including the bodies with their skins again. There’s no reason to sell bodies separately, just throw it all in there. A lot of brands are already giving out FREE body skins, cos that makes sense. It’s already very complex to match different mesh heads with different bodies, appliers, and BoM, so just give us the body so we’re not left wondering why our bodies aren’t matching our faces.
