Hello from my Linden Home! By April of this year, it will have been 4 years since I claimed my first Linden Home. Time goes by quickly! I’ve been thinking a lot about my Linden Homes, including how much I’m spending on my region. I won’t say how many Linden Homes I had at my peak, but I have four of them now. I’ve given up homes in the same theme in the past month and decided to just keep one with any theme I like. I’m still trying to leave even more, and unless the next theme interests me, I’ll probably end up with just three homes. Like everyone else, I’m still waiting for those 2048 Linden Homes.
Since the Concierge Linden Home service for Premium Plus came out, people have asked me to leave my homes so they can ticket for it. Sorry, but that’s not how it works. Abandoned homes go into a queue for anybody to get from the Land Page on the Second Life website. I’ve always thought the ticketing process was highly inefficient and there has to be a more instant solution. Even if I wanted to abandon a house for someone to use their Premium Plus to claim, they can’t without risking the house being taken by other residents.
How hard would it be for Linden Lab to add a “Claim” button on the land parcel that lets Premium Plus members claim things right away? This would get rid of the ticket system. I’ve used the ticketing system a few times, and the Lindens always do a great job assigning homes, but it usually takes anywhere from a few hours to a day.
Most residents in Second Life can’t even submit a ticket because they don’t know where all of the new and empty homes are on Bellisseria. Not everyone pays enough attention to Bellisseria to know these things by heart. It would be great if there was a list of homes that are available to claim.
I found a website called BonnieBots not too long ago. You may have seen these bots moving around the grid and collecting data. Even though some people seem angry or afraid of these bots and have banned them from their land, they are not dangerous. I love numbers, so seeing the Marketplace and Abandoned Land information on BonnieBots intrigues me.

I contacted the team behind BonnieBots and asked them to add a search for Linden Homes that are available. Check out the BonnieBots Linden Homes page! This page is still being worked on, and the team would love to hear what you think. If you have any ideas for how it could work better for residents, please talk to them. This list is a good way for residents with Premium Plus to get an idea of what they can submit a ticket for.
Are you a Premium Plus member interested in Linden Homes? Tell me what you think of the Concierge service and if you’ve been able to get the house of your dreams.
