Happy Holidays from Aurelias! 🎄 Join us for some seasonal cheer on this second day of the 12 days of Christmas. Our festive decor is still up, and we’re serving hot cocoa and roasted chestnuts. The Christmas spirit will last a while, so make sure to drop by and soak up the festive vibes!
Have yourself a merry little Christmas Let your heart be light Next year all our troubles, will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas Make the Yuletide gay Next year all our troubles, will be miles away
Once again, as in olden days Happy golden days of yore Faithful friends who are dear to us Will be near to us once more
Someday soon we all will be together If the fates allow Until then, we’ll have to muddle through somehow So have yourself a merry little Christmas now
I can hardly believe that we’ll soon be welcoming the new year. Here’s to hoping that the coming year will bring an abundance of happiness, joy, and fulfillment of your heart’s desires. Feel free to share in the comments if you’re excited for the new year!

During Christmas, I went on a Pink shopping spree at LeeZu to get away from all the Red/Green colors. I was pretty happy LeeZu carried so many Pink items, and they all have a Princessy feel to them!
I especially love this LeeZu Courtisane Lingerie set in baby pink — which can be worn with a flexi skirt or without.
A couple of weeks ago, one of my friends really wanted to find a nice wedding gown and we looked at all the major brands in SL but couldn’t come up with anything that was just right. I think there’s a serious lack of fun wedding gowns in SL — but you can probably use one of LeeZu’s gorgeous ball gowns as a wedding dress or mix-and-match it with other items for a totally unique look. This is the gorgeous La Vie En Fleur dress in baby pink, I fell for it at first sight because the texture is beautiful and the dress is so versatile, you can wear it 3 different ways!
As a ball gown (sculpted skirt + flexi skirt worn together)
Or as a simpler gown (just the flexi skirt worn here) or as a simple body suit.
The La Vie En Fleur dress comes in various colors and there’s even a matching hat (sold separately) *note to self: get the hat!*
Last but not least, I’m a sucker for baby pink short dresses and this La Vie En Fleur dress has a very mod look to it — it goes perfectly with the Lydia hairstyle from Truth (with a color changing headband).
I tend to get carried away with Pink colored things, but I know that if I get any other color.. I would still be obsessing about the Pink. LeeZu carries tons of colors, so whatever you’re into, you’ll probably be able to find it there. Visit LeeZu!

This Chu-ing Academy top is a little boxy around the shoulders, but I got the entire outfit on Marketplace for less than $100L. It’s a cute enough style, even if Chu-ing can be a hit or miss brand. I never buy any outfits with built-in hands (so weird!), and Chu-ing is one of several brands that tends to do it.
Julia Soothsayer of Awesome Designs created this amazing Petals In Pink & White gown just for RFL. The dress includes a short skirt and a long one, also comes with sculpted rose sleeves, and a rose hair accessory. This landmark will take you straight to Awesome Designs, when you land, take the right path straight into the pink shop.
And that’s not all… there’s 3 free animal prints dress just for Clothing Fair visitors. Normally I am not a fan of animal prints, but these totally work with my new Detour skin & hair, giving it a 60’s looking flair.
The new PACADI Jasha Euphoria Collection is has gorgeous lingerie & complementary accessories to match. I’m wearing the PACADI Jasha ‘Oona Lingerie’ which includes Lingerie, Bra and the Mairey Leather Belt. I’m pairing mine with a Hibiscus colored leather belt, instead of the Brown one that it came with. I love the striking color combination!
If you’re a poses fan like I am, PACADI has also launched a small collection of poses great for fashion photography. I’m using them in the picture above.
Laqroki – Elena (original) | Elena (with Blonde brows tattoo)
Laqroki released hair kits yesterday for all current Laqroki skin tones. What’s a hair kit? It’s Eyebrows, Hairbase, and Hairbase + Eyebrows on a tattoo layer. I am wearing just the Eyebrows in these pictures to show you what a difference changing eyebrows can do for a skin.
One of my favorite Laqroki skins, Elena, only comes with thick dark brows. I’ve been dying for Elena in lighter brows and now I can have it in any color I want. Yep! I chose Blonde, but you can wear Red, Brown, Black as well. For skins that already have the brows color you want you don’t need to wear the Eyebrows tattoo, but can still use the hair base.
This is very exciting for someone like me, who owns so many Laqroki skins but I want to wear them with different hair colors and I want my brows to match! I loooooove that I can turn any existing skin “Blonde” or “Red”, which are harder to find in SL than Brunette (dark) brows.
Laqroki has set the standard for other skin makers, now I want tattoo brows choices for ALL of my skins. I can’t wait for lips and makeups and other things we can mix and match with, now that multiple tattoo layers can be worn at once. This is exciting!
FYI, these tattoo layers are made for Laqroki skins tones, so they will NOT work with any other skin in SL. Pick up a demo, you’ll see what I mean. They MAY work if you find a skin with the same exact highlights and tone but that’s highly unlikely.
Welcome to the Adult Hub, a region meant for residents over 18. It seems that Second Life has built a tasteful adult playground with beaches, clubs, pools, dancing areas, camping areas, waterfalls, all for new residents. New residents are guided to enter the Adult Hub through a portal at the Welcome Hub. Established residents can come too, and they can teleport directly to the Adult Hub. To enter, you must change your maturity rating to Adult and agree to the region rules. However, there’s no real age verification in Second Life, so technically it’s still possible that underage players could access the Adult Hub.
When I heard about Second Life launching a sex region, I was prepared to be grossed out. Ew, why? Why does Second Life want to attract people who come here wanting sex on day 1? Why make that the opening experience for new residents? But I visited the Adult Hub with an open mind and left with a deeper understanding of why Second Life made this.
Back in December 2023, Second Life teased that “Something Spicy” was coming. It was this Adult Hub, but for reasons that didn’t launch then, it launched now in March 2026. Is Second Life now ready for adults to come, along with their shiny new (sorta working) mobile app?
This is an adult game, and some adult areas in Second Life aren’t moderated. Anything goes. It can be scary and overwhelming. This feels more like a controlled environment for adults entering that side of Second Life, especially those who may appreciate moderation and tasteful decor.
Not everything on this region is about sex. There are lots of seating areas set up for conversations. Sex is one activity, but it’s well hidden inside the furniture. You don’t see pose balls anywhere, and the hints of sex are subtle.
My time wandering around this region as a 1 day old avatar, I only met established residents. Not a single new resident in sight. Not yet. A Second Life Mentor greeted me, and everyone I encountered was nice. They flocked to my noob avatar, introduced themselves, and tried to include me in conversation. That was nice. I think current residents are really trying to make new people feel welcome and stay. Maybe for the platform’s survival.
Even though I was prepared to run away from here and never look back, I think I’d go back as my main avatar. It’s an Adult Hub, but it’s not just a sex space. It feels more like a general adult social area where different things can happen. Of course my experience could be rare. This region could eventually turn into a full sex dungeon, dicks everywhere, nude avatars everywhere. But at least today, everyone I saw was wearing clothes. There are rules though, so be sure to read them while you’re here.
My overall thought is that this is nice. There should be more well designed areas like this for all types of experiences. I guess Second Life felt Adult was the draw, and I hope their gamble pays off.
