Happy Valentine’s Day! Did something happen at Linden Lab today? The Dunk & Hug a Linden or Mole Event was lacking the very reasons we came— the Lindens! I saw only four Lindens in attendance while I was there, which is just a fraction of last year’s participation. Thank you for showing up, Izzy Linden!
I may not have any specific favorite Lindens, but I definitely appreciate those who make an effort to attend events and engage with the community. I felt quite let down by the limited attendance from Lindens this year.
Before leaving the party, I made sure to take a photo with head mole, Abnor Mole! Thank you for all you do for Bellisseria!
Here are a few suggestions for next year’s Valentine’s Day event:
- Have more Lindens present.
- Employ a dedicated photographer who can take & send photos to each resident. It’s a charming touch! Theme parks have this feature, and people really enjoy it.
- Be more engaging; a simple greeting to residents goes a long way.
I take lots of photos, so taking a photo under pressure (a few seconds) is not that hard. I think a lot of other residents feel awkward, so they may want to take a photo but they don’t know how to do it quickly. Please have a dedicated photographer next year!
This year’s event just didn’t feel like a party at all. Honestly, I felt a bit sad, even though it has become a tradition for me. I plan to attend again next year, and I truly hope it is better attended.
What I’m Wearing:
Wings – EF1110
Guapa – Love Ring (Gold)
C’est La Vie – Janie Headband
Rebel Gal – Natalie Fur Coat
Everfaery – Paige Dress
Yummy – Lover Earring Collection (Metal Heart Stud)
Supernatural – Ellie Heels
Glam Affair – Siu (L005)
LeLutka – Billie Mesh Head

Dedicated photographer and/or dedicated photo area with poses. Ppl can hop on and off the poses, get thru the line very quickly, pay a few lindens for a photo or have it be free, whichever. I didn’t attend so I am just adding my my 2 cents that i think makes most sense.
