I’ve waited forever for Tetra to update the Bella dress to include LaraX, and finally, it happened last week. This dress is my favorite item from Tetra, so I’ve been hoping for this update so I can wear it again. I dislike having to switch bodies back and forth, which means a lot of my inventory for Maitreya Lara remains unworn until they release the LaraX update. Eventually, I’ll just end up deleting those items. When a brand doesn’t revisit their previously released items that are still good, I find myself moving on from that brand.
Currently, I’m silently boycotting another brand in Second Life for this very reason. They released a dress that I love, then brought it back in a special limited edition color. The following year, they added the LaraX version of that dress but ignored the special edition color, leaving it without an update. A few months later, they released it again as a Halloween hunt item, complete with blood splatter, but again, they opted not to revisit the special edition color. I have decided to boycott them until they correct this oversight. I know you might be thinking, “But Gogo, you paid a dollar for that dress; designers won’t work for free!” However, I don’t believe I’m being entitled. They have released this dress four times now, three of which included LaraX. Why are they ignoring the only color I truly love? When brands put in a little effort to update previous items, they reap the rewards of being able to sell it again to even more customers, even if some customers do benefit from the free update. Even previous customers can show it some love by wearing it again and giving the brand free marketing.
This is just one of many random reasons I am choosing to boycott something in Second Life. Let me know in the comments if you’re currently boycotting anything, and why!

This is why I truly love and appreciate Spoiled. They’re one of the few brands I’ve seen consistently update both their current and past clothing collections to include LaraX.
i am getting tired of skin creators who use AI enhancements to advertise their skins. I don’t need to mention any names as I am sure everyone knows who they are. i long for the days when second life bloggers and creators didn’t use AI to sell their wears. I don’t mind using AI to create a background for the product but not to sell the item. I think my rant will fall on deaf ears. But glad you got your dress.
Also there is one designer who i quit buying from because no matter what event i buy her designs from there is always something wrong with her color huds, but when I send her a notecard about it, she totally ignores me, and here I have an item full pack where a color doesn’t work on the hud, after spending over 1k to buy a fatpack.
