Meet Lulu, the newest mesh head from LAQ. On my last review of Gaia, the first bento mesh head from LAQ, I did not mention my thoughts on the shape tweaking process for the head cos it was still in the beta stage. The sliders are on Lulu are improved, so editing it is a breeze compared to Gaia. Some people said that the eyes looked sad on my shape, but I have yet to figure out how to fix that. I don’t even mind the sad eyes, it gives Lulu a sweet appearance. If you’re a fan of cute youthful faces, check out Lulu!

What is AVIMOTE? I asked myself this same question when I stumbled upon it a few days ago. I read the list of features on XStreetSL and watched the video for it and I was SOLD!!!
Have you ever wished you could move a pose just a bit to fit your avatar, rather than resize your avatar to fit? Yeah, that’s how I feel on a daily basis. I am always stumbling across poses that are made for avatars smaller than me, which tends to cause problems with disappearing hands or missing fingers.
See the image above – that’s me posing with one of the poses in my pose stand. Now….. here comes AVIMOTE! and voila, my hand is perfectly positioned again. It only took about 10 seconds to pull the hand forward and do a lil twist.
AVIMOTE also lets you pose yourself any way you want, but I prefer to use it make minor tweaks. Making a pose from scratch in-world is just as time consuming as it is in a poser program.
I know I sound like an AVIMOTE infomercial right now (hey, AVIOMOTE! hire me!!!) but I’m just amazed that I haven’t heard of this HUD before. Is anyone out there using this? Do you love it?
I love the new Eala Dress from Schadenfreude. I knew I wanted to make a Western inspired outfit, so I could wear it with the My Western Boots and My Western Hat from Monso. This Western inspired outfit also gave me a chance to play with the HIShorse pose prop from HISpose. This mesh horse is scripted with 6 poses (sitting & standing) and is texture/color changeable.
Aren’t these boots amazing? They’re mesh, and includes a HUD to change texture on all the components.

I haven’t received an update from the Maitreya V.I.P. group in-world for quite some time, so when I saw a notice come through, I read it immediately. It appears that the new push-up breasts is attached to the Vixen dress, an old release. I didn’t even own this dress, but if you did, you could send yourself an update. I purchased this dress solely to try on the push-up breasts, even though I think the dress is somewhat outdated and the texture doesn’t look great. Nonetheless, I am excited that Maitreya Lara wearers are finally receiving push-up options, even though I may not wear this add-on all the time. I am surprised this hasn’t been released as an add-on right away, especially considering the popularity of the Juicy Boobs push-up version for Reborn.
We have updated some clothes at Maitreya again and there is one very special update, because it also contains a NEW add-on: the Push-up!!
At this point the Push-up is only available as part of the Vixen dress (push-up version). If people like the push-up (for LaraX, PetiteX and Lara), we’re thinking about releasing it as an add-on for the mesh bodies. We’d also share it in our creator kits, so designers in SL can create apparel for it. -Maitreya notice
When I tried on this dress, I noticed there was a line along my shoulders where the push-up body part meets my LaraX body. I opened Onyx LeShelle’s profile, the creator of Maitreya, and her profile said, “For questions about Maitreya, you can leave me a message.” I like that I can message the person to whom I paid for support directly. It’s nice to be able to connect with the creator to receive real help. She responded to my question promptly and told me how to fix the issue. It’s simple; just re-select the materials on your body if you see a line.
For all the fans of the Maitreya body, we certainly have something to look forward to in the future!
Blog readers always ask me for tips on enhancing Second Life photos with AI tools, and honestly I don’t think I’m very good at it. Still, I decided to dive back into Krea.ai and see if I could enhance my avatar with ultra realistic hair and skin texture. I’ve tried a few other AI tools, but I personally think Krea is the easiest.
Have you ever seen a Second Life ad where the face looks almost real and the hair texture is so good that it can’t be Second Life? That is usually AI enhancement. It can be deceiving, even when people say the product is untouched. Once you add AI, your eyes get tricked and the product does look slightly better.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Second Life has come a long way. My avatar has never looked better to me, but I rezzed into system hair and system clothes back in the day, and I think I was even wearing system skin. So maybe my idea of amazing is a little skewed, but I also think Second Life avatars have peaked. Can we even get any better?
I don’t know what process or tools other people are using, but I think the easiest way to add detail is to enhance with an AI tool and then blend the two photos in Photoshop. You don’t have to keep the entire AI generation, just blend enough so it still looks like your avatar.
AI tools are still too expensive. I like to play around with video generation and I can burn through a month of credits in an hour. I paid $10 a month to test different models in Krea, but you can use the free version too.
Even if you don’t love the deception of AI, it’s here to stay. I’m not encouraging anybody to do this, but I wanted to share since so many people have asked me for tips.
I think that lots of girls will be happy with this release, especially if you’re already a fan of the cute young faces from Pink Fuel. I know I am, but I have always favored the ‘youngish’ look in SL rather than the mature glam look. I’m not glam… I don’t really even like to wear shoes most of the time when I’m floating around in-world from sim to sim.
Are you looking forward to the final version of this skin as much as I am?
I hope the final is something like this, because I think it’s perfect already.
