It’s with a heavy heart that we’re announcing the closure of Aurelias – the region will go offline tomorrow. We’re so thankful to everyone that visited and enjoyed our small town. We hope to see you again in the future on another project!
I went to the Arcade to specifically play for the Movement Grab and Go set. I needed everything here cos I love holdables/wearables and anything that’s juicy (aka fruits). Do you think we should build a convenience store on Aurelias? Let me know in the comments if you think a store would be cute and we’ll make it happen!
Hello from Aurelias! We’re adding touches of Spring to the town square, and the centerpiece is this beautiful Blooming Grand Piano from Dust Bunny. Add your photos to the Aurelias Flickr group to be selected for the group cover. I love seeing the region through your eyes.
I’m wearing the new Ubon head from LeLutka. It’s slightly different than Kaya, but I think I’m ready to move on. I spent days modifying my shape to my liking; it’s a work in progress. I shared this raw screenshot on Twitter a few days ago. I love the HD brows so much, and this is the first time I’m undecided between the really thin HD brows or the one I normally wear, the less thin one. They both work so well for this head. I normally only like the bottom two, the rest are way too bushy and thick for me.
I’ve been attending the Concierge and Land User Group meetings and they’re so lively and interesting. I started going to be more informed about upcoming land changes and to give feedback. Wendi Linden & Vix Linden were such great hosts. Here’s the schedule for the meeting — see you at the next one!
I already know a lot about Second Life land, maybe too much. I’m obsessed with regions, Linden Homes, and mainland (even though mainland is my least favorite land product). Recently I learned that some residents don’t utilize the 10% group land bonus because they don’t understand it. I’m currently holding a piece of mainland, and with the group bonus, I can donate my extra tier to my friend. If every Premium member (who doesn’t own a Linden Home) deeds their tier to group, they would have a little extra to donate to a public project or acquire more land. If you own a big enough parcel of mainland, where the 10% bonus is 512sqm or more, you could use that extra to get a Linden Home.
If you find land stuff interesting, let me know in the comments. I’m happy to share some tips & tricks to maximize your land-owning experience without spending extra money.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Spring has arrived on Aurelias, and it’s just the perfect weather for a stroll around town. When I’m not wearing casual outfits, I love to dress up in frilly Victorian-style looks, or my interpretation of it.
I had a grand time today riding the Linden Love Train and meeting some Lindens and Moles at Isle of View. This year is my first time attending the Dunk & Hug a Linden & Mole Event, and I was disappointed that there were only a few Lindens in attendance. It was definitely exciting to pose for a photo with the most popular Linden of all time, Patch Linden. I wanted to meet some of my favorite Lindens on the Concierge team, but they were probably busy working.
Hello from Aurelias! We launched the region around this time last year, so we’re very excited to celebrate our second winter. We’ve brought back the snow and the Christmas tree on the town square, and we’ve built a lot of cozy places for you to explore and enjoy all around the area. Come take a look!
Good morning from Evermore House on Aurelias! Why haven’t I ever been to this house before? It’s so eerie and beautiful, and sits all by itself on this deserted corner of the island. When I asked Sparkle about the reason the previous owners moved out of the house, she said that she had no idea either. I promise that as soon as I learn the real story behind what took place at Evermore House, I will post an update!
You’re cordially invited to the Evemores— forever more. The Evermore House was once home to the most notable family on Aurelias. The first Evermores arrived in the 17th century and established themselves on the island. John Evermore, his wife, and their daughter are the last known members of the Evermore family to have lived there. The house has been deserted for a very long time, and it now sits all by itself, patiently awaiting its next guests.
Hello on the first day of October! I’m so ready for fall festivities in both lives, and one of the only times in the year where I’ll wear orange. I’m wearing this sweet lace Peggy Dress from Aleutia; the fatpack includes a HUD to change the color of the dress and ribbon.
We now have cats at Aurelias Rainy Cafe! Zooby has just released the Animesh Cat, and if you like interactive pets, you’ll want to get your hands on these cuties for your Second Life. The animations are the cutest thing about these cats! I’ve rezzed two at the cafe, and they run around making realistic cat sounds.
Luna & Tiger, the Aurelias cats
Meet Luna and Tiger, the first Aurelias cats! The Zooby Animesh Cat has a variety of accessories that you can buy separately, for your cat to interact with — such as food bowls, beds, and litter boxes. The accessories are optional, so you don’t need to get them if you don’t want to. I bought my cats some food, but I don’t think feeding them will level them up or anything. You can also choose to not feed your cats, and they will still stay healthy, cos these are not breedables. You can also rez as many copies as you want to, they’re copiable.
The unsung heroes of Second Life marketing and collaboration are resident-run projects. I founded iheartSL in 2008 (over 14 years ago!) to help aggregate Second Life blog contents into a single central location, to help bloggers gain exposure, and to provide readers with a convenient one-stop shop to browse all the latest posts from residents. Over the years, I have mostly funded iheartSL with my own money and advertising support from sponsors. It is critical to support resident-led projects because they have frequently stepped in to fill gaps left by Linden Lab.
This is a late post about the Fourth of July, but for me, it marks the start of Summer. In Second Life, I adore sparklers and particle bits. While I’m not always a fan of bikinis, this is the season for them!
