Let’s go camping! This adorable vintage pin-up style outfit is from The Secret Store. I am also wearing the The Be My Baby hairstyle from Exile. This month’s Collabor88 theme is called Resort, and the mood board indicates that it’s a retro resort style! I can’t get enough of this style in SL, cos it reminds me of the sweet stuff that artilleri made back in the day.
I’m also wearing these gorgeous Dorothy Heels from Ingenue. It’s available for the Slink ‘Kitten’ feet only. I like shorter heels in SL, but it seems that creators and maybe other residents, favor higher heels. These heels are a must-have for casual clothing, they’re also available in a bunch cheerful of colors.
What I’m Wearing:
Exile – Be My Baby @ Collabor88
The Secret Store – Cindy Knotted Shirt (Milk) @ Collabor88
The Secret Store – Bonnie Capri Pants (Sky) @ Collabor88
Ingenue – Dorothy Heels (Pearl) @ Vintage Fair
Just when I think Second Life content can’t possibly get any better, it does get better, and that is the most exciting thing about being a consumer. This is the first time that I’ve seen bento animated hair, and I’m already craving more! I’ve seen animated hair from other brands, but I don’t know if they were bento or some other scripted method. Exile just released a few bento hairstyles, add them to your must have list! Watch the videos (Palace & Over the Edge) to see the animations! The hairstyles are even more stunning in-world cos the animations are so smooth.
How darling is this Vintage Blouse from ANE? I love the front of this blouse, it’s pleated and very pretty. Then I turned around, and I love the back even more! Vintage with a twist!
What I’m Wearing:
Exile – Palace (Bento)
ANE – Vintage Blouse @ The Vintage Fair
The Secret Store – Yulia Flare Skirt (Navy)
Ingenue – Lisbet Heels (Navy) @ Collabor88
This newly released Anna Blouse from Ricielli is so pretty and the fabric folds are ultra realistic. I am pairing it with the High Waisted Shorts also from Ricielli. Truth released three gorgeous hairstyles at The Epiphany (a gacha event); I am wearing the one called Ice and a matching crown. This is what I call awesome princess hair, and a total must have if you like long hairstyles.
Look at my gorgeous Lola Wedges from Maubray. The shoes include a HUD to change textures + color for both the upper and heel part. I picked floral print cos I don’t have a lot of floral printed shoes in SL, and I am so in love with these.
What I’m Wearing:
Truth Hair – Ice + Bangs, Crown
Ricielli – Anna Blouse, High Waisted Shorts (Ocre)
Maubray – Lola Wedges
How do you like the interior? Since it’s October, I decorated it like a mini-coven area, complete with these cauldrons I picked up from A.D.D. Andel at We <3 Roleplay. I LOVE these! You can change the color of the liquid so it suits whatever you’re doing. It also comes with various options, like cauldrons with steam/without steam, with/without a stirring stick, etc.
Is it just me, or does everyone think that if we all set out to make a video game and put it on Steam, it would be utterly kickass and feature a ton of female game content creators? We have a lot of women in Second Life who create amazing mesh products every day. Outside of here, the amount of female game creators isn’t so high. If we held a game jam in SL, how awesome would it be to see programmers and artists coming together to make a game? Then you can put the game on Steam or Itch.io and make some money!
Shoutout to one of my friends who hates spiders. Look at my glasses! Hehehe. <3

The Gen-Neutral event is opening tomorrow! I was excited to participate in this fair because it has to do with a subject that’s close to my heart. Everyone did a great job on their items, and there are a lot of great fashion choices available.
So–what do I have to relate to about this event? I’m genderfluid. Most of the time I present as a woman. But every now and again, I switch to male. I usually allow this to manifest by mask art and going under a male alt in SL, because I am very curvy in real life, but I am too happy with my body to want to transition and become a man. I also dress very casually or wear men’s clothes sometimes, but I do it in my own way–which reflects my fashion choices in SL, too.
I used to think that being a woman meant I had to wear girly things. But being a woman should be what you define it to be, for yourself. The clothing at the Gen-Neutral event, such as the awesome top and pants I’m wearing in this picture, are worn by tomboyish models at their stalls to show they are meant for everyone. But when I wear them, I make them my own.
You don’t have to cut your hair short to defy gender norms (or grow it long, if you’re a man). You don’t have to look like Ruby Rose or go to extremes in presentation. You can be you and dress how you want to dress. Define who YOU are, don’t let your gender do that for you. That’s what the Gen-Neutral event is about–giving you a choice.
