Tropical
The Sylva Dress from The Secret Store is easily my favorite dress at the moment. I love palm trees, palm prints, and everything that reminds me of the beach or a tropical island. I even found a chair from Glam Affair Home @ Collabor88 that features pillows with palm prints! I added some planters around my house to bring more greenery indoors. Most of the house plants are from What Next, and the planters are texture-changing.

Creative Workspace
The Creative Workspace set from The Secret Store is clearly a work of art. I’m guessing that the drawings are Maylee’s art (buy her art on Etsy)! I like everything about this set, especially all the art brushes, paints, and a drawings. The only thing missing was a chair, so I just paired it with a random chair from Tres Blah. I also resized everything up just a bit, so that it’s the same scale as the rest of the furniture in my home.

This entire outfit screams kawaii! I love the new Kyoko hairstyle from Truth; it includes two bangs options and a face mask with color-changing HUD. I’m just thrilled when Teefy release a complete outfit (top & bottom) cos it’s guaranteed that I’ll love it. I don’t like when I have to find my own bottom or top, cos they don’t always fit well together. This Brooklyn top and Joey skirt from Teefy is super adorable, comes in a variety of colors and patterns to mix-and-match.

Early Spring
I know it’s only February, but I truly feel like Spring is right around the corner! The gorgeous Irina Crop Sweater and Yulia Flared Skirt from The Secret Store comes in vibrant colors and vintage flowers. Maylee Oh of The Secret Store is so artistically talented, just follow her Flickr stream to see some real life art. I want these flowers as art on my wall, on purses, on furniture – basically everywhere!
I love the beautiful SL sky today…. it keeps getting better and better!

Glam Affair Lucrezia Skin for LeLutka Simone Bento
Happy New Year’s Eve!
I haven’t done a skin review in years, mostly cos I felt that SL system skins have peaked around 2013, and there was nothing else to write, that I haven’t written hundreds of times before. I have reviewed 245+ skins in SL from countless brands, some have stagnated and never moved beyond system skins, or they simply retired.
I plan on reviewing more skins in 2017, if I can alternate between more than a handful of brands. I won’t look for seams or point out flaws anymore, because it’s 2017 and I figured that most brands should have that figured out by now. If a skin is not to my liking, you will not see it on my blog. It may have taken me about a decade of SL blogging to figure it out, but it is much more efficient use of my time to focus only on well-made products. Unfortunately, that does mean that a lot of brands with potential will not get the feedback that they desperately need to grow.
This is the Lucrezia skin from Glam Affair. This skin is available at Uber, along with lashes and brows made specifically for the LeLutka Simone Bento head. I like the brows that it comes with, so I didn’t get the extra brows pack that can be worn with any Glam Affair skin/Lelutka Bento head. I also like that I can mix-and-match the makeups from some of the recently released Glam Affair skins to create some different looks. Even though I didn’t wear a lot of Glam Affair over the years, I do appreciate that Aida is a prolific skin maker.
The Lucrezia skin is $899L per skin tone, and comes with 8 brows color, 8 lipsticks, and 8 eye shadows. It is available at Uber at the moment, and will probably be available in store later on.

Everything is okay
Have you ever noticed that I don’t wear hair bases or hair that only works with hair base? I have always found my SL head shape slightly odd, so I don’t like looking at it uncovered. In addition to this, I just don’t think the hair bases are natural looking or blends well with mesh hairstyles (there’s always a line). LeLutka released hair base hairstyles in the past to work with hair buns, but I just didn’t like them on my head. This week, they surprised me once again with a line of hair base hairstyles. I’m surprised that I love these when I tried them on! Finally, hair base hairstyles that works on me. There is no awkward line where the hair base ends, and the hairstyles have enough hair for my head not to feel naked.
These are the 4 new hairstyles /attachments that works with 4 new hair bases from LeLutka. The hair base HUD only works with LeLutka heads; so everyone who doesn’t wear this head will just have to wait for a release that supports Omega and/or includes ‘texture’ hair bases.

Penelope
Wings were a staple for new SL residents back in the day! I wore all types of angel wings and fairy wings. I don’t wear them often these days, but when I saw this Penelope headpiece from Astralia, I instantly fell in love. There is a HUD included to change texture so it’ll match so many things! The shimmery texture on the wings reminds me of gorgeous wings from Fancy Fairy that I wore years ago. Did you know that the creator of Fancy Fairy went on to create wings in real life for Victoria’s Secret? Absolutely amazing.
I am wearing the Joylyn Dress from Fishy Strawberry. This way this dress and headpiece matches is just a happy coincidence. I love when things from different creators goes well together. My hair is from Exile, and shoes from Ingenue.
